My niece ran away with her baby............need help?

She's 20yrs. old and is mentally retarded. She left with her small baby. I have custody over and she's been with me since she was 11. I'm really worried about the baby. What can I do? She's 20 so is there anything I can do about it? She has no idea who the father of her baby is.

He doesnt have a problem with the taste of the paste. But when he hears "come to brush your teeth", he starts saying no and becomess adament. We have to hold him and brush his teeth. Everyday morning, it is like a battle in our house.

Suggestion please to make him co-operate

I am pregnant, due in April with a little girl. My husband is in Iraq right now, so it's hard to have a long conversation with him about middle names for our little girl. He has this bright idea for me to make a list of names I like and he can pick his top 3 favorite, and we can decide from there. Her first name will be Kinleigh...does anyone have any ideas for a great middle name? Our last name is Lewis. Some ideas I have had so far are Grace, Maree, Jaye, and Claire. He doesn't like Maree, and Grace is too common. Any ideas?

Okay so I just let my bestfriend move in with me, She has a 4yrold daughter. I always thought her daughters curls were natural but i just found out today that she wakes her daughter up at 530am every morning to curl her hair. She says shes done it every single day since the baby had enough hair to curl. She wont let her daughter go to pool partys or the beach. HOW CAN I CONVINCE her that her daughter having perfect curls are not worth it.
the child is a mess she is always tired and has hardly any friends anymore since she is never allowed to go to things cause she might wreck her curls.
is she insane?

my last period was dec 24th,on january 4th and 5th io ovulated i think because i had a pain in my left ovry that lasted a couple hours with a tiny bit of pink streak in a little bit of clear discharge.now i started spotting bright red today with back pain is that implantation bleeeding my period shouldn't come untill atleast the 24th of jan.please serious answers if you've experienced these symptoms and what the outcome became?

I am 14 weeks pregnant and my ultrasound/tech said that my baby weighs in at a grand size of 3 ounces. Everything that I have read suggests that my baby at this gestational age should weigh between 1 and 1.5 ounces. Is it possible that I am having a big baby? I don't want to look like an over zealous mom-to-be and call the doctor over this....Anyone have the same situation or even know something? I have actually lost weight so far in this pregnancy.

i am 25 years old. i have had a very hard time getting preg. so far i have gotten oreg 1 time that was back in 2002 november i miscaried in jan 2003. and have not got preg sine . it is not that i dont try i try all the time just nothing happens. is ther any reason that can keep me from getting preg. like maybe since i did not have a dnc after my miscarrage or can being seually molestes as a child have anything to do with me not being able to? is there any one who can help me?

Should these families who have overweight children be referred to Child Protective Services? I think it is very sad that parents allow their children to gain excess amount of weight and I believe these parents should be held accountable for neglecting the overall health of their children.

as far as age gap, mother's body, etc...
I wanted the kids to be about 2 years apart... but that would mean I would have to have had a baby ...now.
So, if we were to get pregnant NOW, our son would be about 3 when the baby arrived. BUT- hubby wants a bigger age gap...
So- what is ideal? Him and his brother were 18 months apart. And he says they were very competitive and didn't get along at all. My sister and I were 4 years apart, and got along mostly up until I started puberty... So... Does it just depend on the kids whether or not they get along? or is it really better to be closer in age?

during christmas break me and my brothers had to stay over grandmas for 3 days. i'm 13 and my brothers are 9 and 5. anyway for bathtime she made me bathe with my younger brothers and i hadn't done that in 2 years. i tried to tell her no i didn't want to, but i couldn't change her mind. once i got in the bathtub it wasn't that bad but i was a little embarassed cause she sat there almost the entire time. i told my mom and she didn't seem to care. what can i do?

BUT i made the mistake of looking again a hour or so later and there was a bue positive line. So confused so did another and same again Has this happened to any one else?? We are TTC but not particually stressed just take it as and when. I have a 2 year old son already no problems there in fact got aught whilst on the pill? Strange how these things happen eh??

I was five months pregnant when I met my husband. So I had my baby boy when I was living with him, now my baby is two years old what I' ve been wondering is why he has so much alike to him from birthmarks to the way he acts. my husband and the biological father have nothing in common. My mother in law told that when my husband was little he had some type of seizure, a month ago my son had it as well, the doctor said that his seizure is related to his genes. I am 35 weeks pregnant and extremely itchy. It's not just my stomach but all over. It started about a week ago and it is extremely uncomfortable. I feel like I have poison ivy or chicken pox but I don't have any red spots or rashes. No matter how much I moisturize, the itchiness will not go away. Has anyone ever experience this? Is this a pregnancy symptom?
