Wow! I thought was the only one experiencing this. I am having the same problem for about a week now. That's why i am looking for some answers online. I am 34 for weeks pregnant and i can't stand the itch! I can't even sleep at night, i thought it was just my skin stretching, but then i started getting really itchy all over in all different places. My wrist, legs, my back, and all over my belly. I have really small red bumps that are showing up from itching it. Its horrible! I hope you get an answer soon, i know its not the best feeling. Advice: Don't take hot showers, it gets worse! For now try using a 1% hydrocortisone creme until you see a doctor. Hang in there! I will be seeing a doctor tomorrow, hopefully i will get this thing taken care of.

The only thing that helped me, and it took years for me to be willing to try t because I honestly didn't think it would help since my skin was SOOOO bad (I got rashes EVERYWHERE for a few years)... I started putting on lotion after every shower, at least once a day. After moisturizing "religiously", and having not used my topical meds for the first time, I started seeing my rashes go away and my skin stopped itching also. I could NOT believe it. I just used the St Ives super dry skin lotion... Good luck and I HOPE this helps you. I had been getting rashes for a few years and NOTHING helped and I think I had been on 2 or 3 different kinds of topical medicine but after a while it stopped working. Give it a try and hopefully it will help.

I got it too and the doctor told me it was normal, after a week of being itchy thats when I started to get the rash, on my belly, legs, feet.
I know its hard but try not to scratch and go see the doctor, they will give you some cream, I also found that putting something cold on the itchy spot helped a bit. Warm bath's made it worse.
Good Luck and make an appoinment to see your doctor.

It may not be cholestasis, just PUPPS. You can have your care provider run a liver panel blood test to take a look at your liver function to rule out cholestasis. It is most likely PUPPS, a (fairly) common discomfort of late pregnancy. Oatmeal baths are good, as well as Apis homeopathic remedy, and Dandelion root tincture. Sorry mama! The itching is hard to deal with, I know!

Please go see your doctor as soon as possible to rule out a liver issue. If you have tried lotions, oatmeal and aveeno baths to no avail and you itch everywhere, then you could have another issue going on. Have you noticed any yellowing of your skin, whites of your eyes, under your tognue or on your gums? When you push on your skin and let go do you see a yellow coloration before the blood returns to the area? I would make an appointment ASAP to get checked out. However if you do note some yellowing after checking and doing what I suggested, please seek medical attention ASAP, even today. Take care and let us know!

You have an allergy and it has nothing to do with being pregnant. Try using a hypo allegenic detergent like All Free or Tide Free. If it continues, see an allergist.

It's could be a liver failure symtom caused by the pregnancy, I had it too. Go to the doctor.
It's called cholestatic liver disease......
You really need to tell your doctor about it, I had it bad, and I was MISERABLE. But, more importantly it's very dangerous, and is brought on by your pregnancy.
