I am divorced with two children, ages 15 and 7. I am 35 and thought I was finished having babies. I met the love of my life (he's only 28) and he has no kids, but wants to get married (planning to this year or next) and start a family with me. I am so afraid to have another baby so late in life, especially since the chances of defects and multiple births increase with age. He is the only male in his family and his father just passed away. He wants to carry on the name. I love him with all my heart, but I am so afraid. Can anyone offer advice?

My baby is 2weeks old and I'm currently breastfeeding him and giving him formula at night, so my husband can be involved.I'm weighing my options of permantly putting him on formula b/c my husband feels left out.I love the bond my son and I have during nursing, however breastfeeding is taking a toll on my body.
My baby is feeding faster than my milk is coming in & and I feel he gets full off formula rather than breast milk. I need some advice,should I continue to breastfeed or give my husband a chance and offer formula?

had my period on 6th dec. and had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on the same day and the next. an supposed to have my period today but no signs of it just some discharge like the one when ovulating. i also have some abdominal cramping. could i pregnant?

I am 31 years old, I just had a beautiful son last week. My pre-pregnant weight was 110lbs now im at 132 after giving birth. Even though I am lucky not to have gained so much , I still feel down due to the fact that im not used to weighing this much. My husband made a comment about my stomach not been as firm as before. I confronted him 5 times and told him he was v ery insensitive , he said he really didnt mean anything bad but that im too sensitive . We had problems prior to me been pregnant he says thing s without thinking, and hurts my feelings. Please help me deal with this issue, we have been married for 3 years now. Been together for 4. Should I consider leaving him?..please help. Thank you.

My daughter is 18 months old and is using a straw sippy cup and does also use the gerber hard spout ones. When should I begin to wean her from them? How do I do it, I mean do I just go to a regular cup or is there a certain sippy cup that is better for older toddlers? I have seen some with a small hole that looks more like a regular cup where the juice just comes out into the top and then they sip (doesnt make to much sense its hard to explain). First time mom and any advice would help!

my husband and I are officially trying to get pregnant again ( we have a 4 year old). We had sex day 13 and 14 (28 day cycle). Day 13 I noticed the 'egg white' consistancy just barely starting and more on day 14. But what's driving me up the wall is now I'm on day 16 of my cycle and I still have the "egg white" discharge!!! Should we have waited? We don't have time to have sex every day or every other day w/ a 4 year old running around. But I also know that sperm can live up to 3 days right?? So do you think it's still possible we could have conceived? My periods are always regular (every 28 days), but last month I think I stressed myself out hoping I could be pregnant and had a 31 day cycle!! I've been crampy the past 2 days, and very tired after sleeping 8 hours...and a bit moody...could it be all in my head? Please I need some advise before I drive myself crazy!! Especially since I have to wait till my missed periond...2 more weeks to go..AHHH!!

And she also told me that she can see herself at coney island, great adventure and taking her social studies test. Now my husband and i have been separated for along time and I am wondering besides from her Lupron therapy if she has some emotional things going on. Oh she has a pain in her leg with this dizziness. The lupron is for the leg pains by the way. I am taking her to the emr to evaluate this even though tomorrow she has a pediatric appointment.

I have an almost 9 month old son who has hit a new level of being clingy and throwing temper tantrums. He's too young to discipline and every time I try to sit him down, he grabs ahold of me and won't let go, screaming. Also, if I do something he doesn't like, he'll throw himself all rigid on the floor screaming till he's red in the face. He won't go to anyone else, including his father (which is causing HUGE problems because his dad already doesn't want me being a stay-at-home mom because my husband thinks it'll make him a "mama's boy")...Does anyone have suggestions about how to stop temper tantrums in a child this young? Basically, I snap my fingers or clap my hands and tell him no in a strong voice. It does no good -- usually makes him cry harder. Also any suggestions on the clinginess thing. It doesn't bother me too much, but my husband and the grandparents are doing nuts not getting to hold my little boy! Thanks!

I know that people brag about their children, that's what parents do. My son is 2 and already knows the whole alphabet, his numbers, and mostly his colours, I teach him well, he is very polite, and excuses himself, says sorry, thank you, please, and your welcome. He just turned two and looks like a 4 yr old. He talks good. Our family members are amazed when he talks. They never believed us before. My niece is 4 and doesn't know her alphabet, but that's not her fault. I'm not saying my son is a proditgy, but I am saying he is smart. Our family members always say that everyone says that, but it's the truth. How come people are like this? Why won't anyone believe what people say anymore. My mother didn't even believe me until she wrote letters down on a doodle board and he started to say every one. She said that none of my siblings including myself even did that. why are people so rude when it comes to children?

I have a GREAT friend (I don't know what I would do with out her) and she lives close to us. She is married and has one son who is almost 2. I got married a over a year ago and now I am 13 weeks pregnant. I have asked her all sorts of baby questions, and advice on what is normal. the other day she thought she was pregnant, but turns out she isn't. Her husband wants to wait to have another until they are both out of college.

I would love to be pregnant together...that would be awesome. But just don't want my baby talk to make her rush into anything she and her husband aren't ready for. Any advice?

He has been coughing pretty bad and has a runny nose. He says his throat hurts but I'm not totally sure if it does or if he is just saying yes to everything that I ask him. He's been pickier about eating and drinking, so I think it's a good possability.

I've given him cold/allergy medication but he hasn't seemed to get any better, plus it's very diffacult to get him to take it at all anyway.

What are some things I an do to help him to feel better and maybe get over this quicker?

are you having true labor pains or false and what kind of pains are you having and how do you know if you are going to go into labor soon. Also what are some natural ways to bring the contractions pains more stronger and closer together.

ths is 2nd baby but i still feel clueless because its way diff from the first and that was about 2yrs ago im 39 weeks 2-3 cm cervix thin and ready and had my membranes stripped 3 days ago.
now im getting period cramps (on a scale 1-10) i would say 6 or 7. will these pains go away or will they stay until they get way strong to where i go into labor? are these pains just from being stripped?

My daughter is fully trained in during the day but when she sleep at night that she keep wetting herself every night. I even not give her drink after 5 or 6 and make her go potty before she goes to bed and by the time I wake up by 5 in the morning that she already pee in her bed. How can I help her less it happen? i am about to start taking the pill femodine. is this a low dose pill? and is it the hormones that make you gain weight or does the pill just increase your appitite so you eat more which results in weight gain? i had a baby 5 months ago and have worked hard to get the weight off, i am now back to normal and want to take the pill but really dont want to gain weight!!xx
