And she also told me that she can see herself at coney island, great adventure and taking her social studies test. Now my husband and i have been separated for along time and I am wondering besides from her Lupron therapy if she has some emotional things going on. Oh she has a pain in her leg with this dizziness. The lupron is for the leg pains by the way. I am taking her to the emr to evaluate this even though tomorrow she has a pediatric appointment.

The side effects of Lupron can include dizziness, depression, nervousness among other symptoms (http://womenshealth.about.com/cs/hormones/a/lupron.htm) but I'd definite mention this to her doctor as she can be switched to another drug that is more agreeable to her. About her daydreams, that could be more of an emotional problem and, while mentioning this to the doctor is important, you should also talk with your daughter herself. Ask if there's anything bothering her and why does she think she's having these dreams. You could also mention it to her school nurse (or guidance teacher, if she has one).

Yes, at 10 they are on the grow. Dizziness could come from all sorts of things. Diet, sleep, vision, ear infections. At that age these days, their bodies are starting to change. That can actually cause dizziness.

Lupron can cause leg pain so I don't know exactly why she'd be taking Lupron for this condition but I took that to stop estrogen production for endometriosis and it really messed me up. I had really severe migraine headaches, bruising, all sorts of things. I would really get this checked out. Have you researched Lupron therapy on the net? You might want to to educate yourself and also, you may want to research whatever her leg pain is related to and check out your options. If your doctor gives you a hard time move on - you need to advocate for your child, remember you/insurance/whoever are paying them - the doctor - for a service, get your questions answered and do not allow them to intimidate you into thinking they have to be right and you don't know what you are talking about! Good Luck!

Yes. That happened to me when I was 10 but for me it just came back and I'm 13. It's really annoying because my legs get really tight and then I get charley horses in my calfs. They really hurt! I get dizzy when I stand up and can picture myself in london, california, and North Carolina. But that's from daydreaming.
