i mean.....if a lady is satisfied wid hvin 2 children wat kinda operation does she do to stop child birth?????

Most dr.'s won't perform a tubal until a woman is older and after 30. Birth control and an IUD work just fine.

The tubal ligation answers are correct, but to clarify the responses mentioning hysterectomy. That is a surgical procedure when they uterus and sometimes depending on the circumstances, the ovaries and/or fallopian tubes are removed. It has a pretty drastic impact on the body and it not elective or used as birth control.

They either cut the filopian tubes and either tie them off- or burn them shut. They do this on both sides.
It's m uch better if the man has a vascitamy. It doesn't hurt him near as much and he can get it done on his lunch hour and then go back to work, If YOU GOT THE GUT'S.

well they can have there tubes tied so they can't get pregnant again. or they could have a hysterectomy but i don't know if thats an elevtive surgery. thats when they take out the ovaries

she can have a tubal ligation. it's where they tie the fallopian tubes so that no eggs can be released so she cannot get pregnant.

You can have your tubes tied, or have a hysterectomy, where the uterus is removed.

They tie ur tubes and they can do that in ur OB/GYN dr. office. Just ask ur dr. about it.
