I normally have high blood pressure but luckily it drops when I'm pregnant. My doctor said to move my legs around like I'm marching in place. Sometimes I think I am going to pass out and even start getting pale and clamy. Any advice?

I have had this problem, for varying amounts of time, with all three pregnancies. It is probably LOW blood pressure problem, as your blood is being drawn to the uterus at this time. It will get better over time, but I know it's difficult to be patient. Do ask your doctor about it, in case it's your blood sugar or something else.

It would happen to me, and my OB said it was most likely because my blood pressure dropped suddenly. If you can, try sitting down for a little while. Also, do try to eat something since it could be low blood sugar like someone else mentioned.

This used to happen to me at work when I was pregnant as well. I would sit down for a minute and put my head in between my legs to bring the blood into my head and it worked, also make sure you're drinking lots and eating lots as everyone else has suggested, and make sure to get your iron checked as well.

I know that blood can pool in your legs and feet if you stand in one position too long. I am hypotensive myself and my doctor told me to salt my food, but I don't know if that is a good idea when you are pregnant. Do what your doctor said and get your circulation running.

This used to happen to me, too. I would just get lightheaded all of a sudden for no reason. I didn't have high blood pressure. I asked my doctor about it and he didn't seem to concerned. He just said hormones.

I know how you feel; I am 10 weeks pregnant and feel the same sometimes. I just lay down and have something to eat or drink. It usually does the trick.

This happened to me in both pregnancies i think it can be due to increased hormones. Also when your pregnant your blood volume increases so maybe thats it. I dont think its reqlly anything to worry about. Just rest when you feel light headed

Make sure you are drinking lots of water. That will keep your blood pressure steady and will provide your baby with a nice soft cushy bed. :)

Your iron may be low, ask your doctor to check it, in the mean time, you need to increase your veggie intake, drink some water or orange juice.
