I am almost 18 weeks pregnant. Has anyone tried one of those at home doppler machines ( like you would buy at wal mart) and got results ?? I haven't bought one yet but I am curious before I do.

ok so my best friend is a boy and i spend all my time with him he can tell when its that time of the month cos i always feel ill he always asks me if i am ok and can he do anything for me and he alwyas lets me rest my lower back on his legs when i sit next to him

ok i dont think i know i fancy him he is soo kind once i was going back to his house after school cos we were going out for a meal and i was in so much pain he gave me some paracetamol and even got a pad for me off his sister i thought it was very mature for a boy of 14 to do that!

plus yesterday i went to manchester with him and his mum and he got me my christmas present it was a £50-00 gift voucher for louis vuitton

Do you have to have needles in you alot when your pregnant(taking blood ect) I hate?
having my blood taken and I passed out completely last time they did it. I especially hate that they have to take it from inside my elbow instead of somewhere like my leg . I have a huge fear of it and I just want to know if they really take your blood that much in pregnancy or do anything else that involves needles(except epidural)

i have had what i thought to be contrcations every ten mins since four this morning went to the hospital i am not dilaited yet and the contractions are braxton hixs. However they are so painfull now that i have cried with one, i cant talk,walk or move with them.i also get a shooting pain and a pressure pain in my bottom. Midwife said labor is not untill you have three in ten mins i am still only having one. Is braxtons that strong or is this not normal.?

I am 3 or 4 days late for my period and lastnight i thought i was going to start but had no cramping but when i went to the restroom and wiped there was 2 very little almost couldnt see it spotts of blood...what does this mean? My husband and i have been trying for like 5 months now....

I've been put on bedrest because I have high blood pressure. I'm 34 weeks PG and I'm a little concerned as to what can be brought on by this.

Could I get toxemia or pre-eclampsia this late in pregnancy from high blood pressure?

Could I go into premature labor and what else could happen?

He's three months old and I want to go have drinks with my husband and our friends like we used to before he was born (we're 24) but I can't help but feel guilty. My sister is keeping him for us tonight (it's date night) and I'm so sick of 'being good' but I know that as soon as I start feelin' it I'm going to start feelin' like a bad mom.

i have had my son to the hosptial 3 times this week and finally a doctor tells me he has rsv. i had to get a mask that comes with a machine that gives him air and some medicine that he has to breath in, i asked the doctor about him not eating and he told me that he didnt think he was dehydrated and to feed him less but more often, i try that but he only drinks about 1/2oz and dosent want any more,, since wednesday he has had maybe 5 bottles and he has thorwin 2 of them up, to day he had an 8oz. bottle and a 5oz. bottle and some of that was mixed in his ceral, i changed him this morning and the diaper i put on him is just starting to become full, i havnt changed him yet today because i was trying to see how much peeing he is doing, and its not much for the day.. can he be dehydrated??

As you may have seen I also have another brother who has passed away from a question I asked before. All together I have 3 brothers. Alright this question is about the middle one who is 21 years old.

Well let me tell you that this brother has a problem. My family thinks that he still uses drugs meaning pills. He has had this problem for awhile now probably a couple years. We all tell him we love him and all that stuff. He also steals money from my parents and me included. He recently today took over $200 from me (I am only 14) and my parents were saving this money for a school trip to Canada later this year. I love my brother very much but I just don't know what to do anymore. I know he has to come to his own decision about making this stop I just wish there was something I could do.

I mean he will go on a streak where he seems to me all okay and doesn't steal anything and we think he is getting better but then he just does something stupid again.

I have a darling 1 year old niece and although her parents love her and take care of her, some things they do have me worried. For example, the baby will get a fever and her mom will refuse to give her tylenol and just says, "Babies get fevers." Or she'll let her play with things like pill bottles ("Oh she can't get the top off") or she won't really watch her. I can't tell you how many times my niece has climbed on things and fallen and hurt herself because her mom won't watch her. Her parents are educated and upper class, so I can't understand why they are so stupid when it comes to their child. Sometimes I worry about my niece's safety, but at the same time how they raise her is not my business. At what point would you, as a loving relative, intervene, or would you?

I am 29 weeks pregnant and my Ultrasound from 28 weeks showed the baby wieghing only 1 3/4lbs in the 34th percentile. Anyone know what that means or any where I could get some more imformation? All I know is that, that is kind of small for 28 weeks
