I am almost 18 weeks pregnant. Has anyone tried one of those at home doppler machines ( like you would buy at wal mart) and got results ?? I haven't bought one yet but I am curious before I do.

I bought one. It NEVER worked. All I heard was normal sounds. No baby. And she was 8 pounds when she was born. Don't waste your money.

I was told by my midwife that it would be a waste of money, unless you buy a really good one, which is not worth doing for home use.

I bought one and was able to hear my baby- the heartbeat and moving around. It was called bebe sounds or something along those line.
