The whole point of being a parent is to prepare our children for adulthood when we wont be there to hold their hand through every move and decision. As parents, we give them the foundation to be successful, independent adults.

I want my kids to grow up and be able to hold their own in the world. I want them to be smart, strong and independent so that they will be able to stand up for themselves and not let anyone else take advantage of them.

because I am not there slave. To be a good parent is to raise a child to be self sufficiant to prepare them for real life. Who is going to do things for them when they move out. So do all for your kids would not raise very nice human beings.
I am guessing you may be a kid who has been asked by a parent to help out. Go clean your room lol

I'd rather them learn from me than not know what to do later in life. Also do'nt want them learning or guessing from friends that only think they know the answers. God forbid, but what if something happened to me? Should'nt I have taught them all I could befor that time comes? I think so!

I do EVERYTHING for my kid so much as trying to get into a new house!
let alone buying some playdoh for 3 dollars.
I love doing everything.
