what are the best thing/s, lesson or tips you learned while you're pregnant that you can share with any pregnant women out there having their first baby like me?

my family and i just got back from christmas vacation.
my son caught a cold from one of the family members, and he's refusing to sleep alone.

are there any suggestions to help him sleep alone?

i know it seems kind of harsh, but he used to be so good about sleeping alone.

I am having a baby girl in a few months. Her first name will definitely be Ashlynn but having some trouble with a middle name. I have two boys and this will be my last baby so I want something very feminine. My son's names are Jayden Nathaniel and Kaleb Zachary. The last name is short and starts with a B if that is any help. I would love some ideas...thank you!

I am almost 31 weeks pregnant and after my husband and I had sex for the first time in a week or so, I got this little balloon like swelling on just one side of my labia. It ISNT painful but it really bother me b/c I have no idea why its there! I have read about the bartholin cysts but im not sure if thats what it would be. ANYONE heard of this or had this happen...if so how long did it take to go away and what did you do?????

Over the past couple of months I have experienced some pretty weird things. I am on the Birth Control, but a while back I ended up bleeding. Not a whole lot but enough. And I also experienced some cramping. I have just have noticed that I have been experiencing symptoms of pregnancy. I am just really confused right now. I just wanted some peoples oppinion. Thank you all. Except for the negetive people.

She's a preppy little girl and watches the station "Nickelodeon" ALL the time! Right now she is watcing the most stupid show on Nickelodeon, "Mr. Meaty".I'm forced to watch all these stupid shos even when she is doing something. i'm 4 days overdue, and i'm curious how long an ob usually waits before inducing labor. i've heard about some women being as far as 43 weeks before being induced, and some being just a few days overdue. i know they like to give you time with first pregnancies, and they like to wait to induce bc the due dates can be off and they dont want the baby born too soon. but in a typical first pregnancy, how long will they wait? i dont want to be 43 weeks before anything happens! i'm ready to have her now.

I'm due with my 2nd child in July and I'm wondering what are people's take on this issue. I see no problem in having a small gathering (no big party with the usual big gifts that usually come with the first one), but just a nice one to celebrate the birth of a new life. A lot of people around me say that I should expect nothing since I've already have had a child. What do you think?

I have a bicornuate uterus and i know that there is still a chance that i can get prg and carry full term. My husband and i have never used protection or any type of contraceptive for the full year we've been together. But still no luck. does anyone else have the same condition i do or have a knowledge of this condition and advice about how to increase the odds of pregnancy??

I gave birth to my son on 12/24 and they had to give me an episiotomy. The hospital never really told me how long it would take to heal or anything about the aftercare.

How long does it take to heal?

Do the stitches just dissolve, or do I need to get them removed?

If you had one, how long before you could do things again?

I'm still in a lot of pain and can barely sit down without it feeling like it's tearing!

Has anyone ever taken benadryl more than 2days in a row?I know on the medical websites they say it's safe but they don't say how often.Can people with experience only answer this question please?I just don't see how this won't effect our babies!

Ok, Im sure this sounds out of control and i know this. Im 20 yrs old and my boyfriend of 3 years will be leaving for the navy in april. I still have about 3-4 years of school left ahead of me. All i can really think about it wanting to settle down and have a baby with him.... NOW!! Does anyone have any good advice to discipline my 1 1/2 year old daughter? We tell her no all the time and we make sure we're down at her height when we tell her but she goes back as soon as were done... So then we started telling her why she can't. I had some advice given that she should get a time out and she should stay with her until she understands she has to stay in that spot but all we get it kicking, hitting, and screaming. Sometimes when we let her go to play again she just throws herself on the ground and hits her head on the ground. I just need some other advice that maybe someone can give to see if that will help in our situation better.

My aunt is really worried about her one year old daughter. She knows how to walk but lately she's been crawling a lot, and rarely walks now, and she use to LOVE walking. Is there anything wrong or is there anything she can do to get her daughter back walking???
