I have a bicornuate uterus and i know that there is still a chance that i can get prg and carry full term. My husband and i have never used protection or any type of contraceptive for the full year we've been together. But still no luck. does anyone else have the same condition i do or have a knowledge of this condition and advice about how to increase the odds of pregnancy??

Your condition doesn't normally cause infertility... It does, however, make the odds of you carrying a baby to full-term a bit lower. Have you tried charting your cycle, so you can best know when you ovulate? Most doctors are prepared to see their patients after a year of TTC with no success. I would see your doctor about being tested for any other possible factors that are preventing you from getting pregnant. Even if everything else is normal, you should be familiar with your doctor and vice versa before you try to conceive, he/she should monitor you before and during the pregnancy, even in the early stages. You should also know that if (and hopefully when! :) you do conceive, there's a very good chance that you'll be put on bedrest for most of your pregnancy, and that there may be a possibility of you having to deliver the baby early. Best of luck to you and your husband, keep me posted on whatever you find out! I would definitely encourage you to see a doctor for a checkup, even if just to put your mind at ease, and definitely to make him/her aware of your condition and the fact that you are TTC.

It can take longer than a year for people with nothing wrong to get pregnant. If you are still concerned go talk to the doctor, but I think you should just enjoy trying for a while longer and try not to get so stressed. Eat well and be active. Take prenatal vitamins and folic acid and you should have a better chance of it happening.
Good luck.

There are certain positions that enhance the probability of pregnancy. Try it doggie style and only wear tennis shoes

I AM FAMILIAR WITH YOUR CONDITION, HOWEVER, A YEAR IS REALLY NOT MUCH TIME. IT JUST SEEMS LIKE IT IS! BE PATIENT, GET AN OVULATOR PREDICTOR AND HAVE FUN!
