Pregnancy & Parenting - 26 December 2006

The mom is going through some difficult times right now and doesn't seem to care or want to do anything about it. I've tried to talk to her about it and all she says is "that little bast*** won't shut up" I don't think it's normal and she's unwilling to take him to the doctor... should i call Child protective services? Does anyone have any experience with this type of situation? Any advice is greatly appreciated. oh, and before i get the "take him yourself" responses, i tried that but she wouldn't let me take him. she said it will be fine on it's own!

My husband and I have been trying to conceive now for 3 years. We have a daughter and had no problem getting pregnant then. We have been to the doctors, fertility methods so on and so on. My question is............if the male and female are postive vs. negative blood types, does this lessen our chances of getting pregnant? We also heard that positive vs. negative blood types will result in only one birth (I find that hard to believe). Anyone ever heard of anything like this before and is it harder to conceive if you are negative vs. positive blood types? Also, my husband and I are both "A" blood types. Is there anyone else out there that is the same blood type with their partner but negative vs. positive that has conceived more than once?

I am now 4 days late. my fiancee and i are ttc. we have been for 10 months, this is the first month my period has ever beeb late, theyve always been super regular. Well as i was saying my period is 4 days late and it just started sort of. it normally starts with bright red blood. all i see is just really light pink(and its not flowing out at all, normally when i start its sooo heavy) only when i wipe with toilet paper. it started about an hour ago. could I be pregnant since my period was late and it is not the normal color or flow? thanks for any advice

My mom is making things hard...as usual. I have enough money for a cell phone upgrade, and I want one. It is getting time for a new phone. I asked my dad, and he said it was ok with him, since I am using my own money, but my mom, says I can't. I don't know why she cares, since it doesn't cost her a penny, but oh well. In my lower abdomin for the past night and 2 days i have woke up bloated and gasyconstipated in my lower abdomin and then goes away as the day goes on. and at night i get it at as well. like tonight im starting to get it once again. i was just wondering if anyone has ever had this in early pregnancy. i usually dont get bloated till the day of my period so this is odd to me. my eatting habits havent changed or anything so its just odd to me next period is due december 30th but still. my only other symtoms are nipples that are more sore then normal, lower back ache. cramping off and on. tired around 8 at night then i nap and im up all night. and thats about it. i know the signs can be the same but im more wondering about the bloated part. i have werrid gasy feeling down there./

I'm on Zovia (BC) I don't always take my pills at the same time, when I sometimes start my period early, it will last until the last day I am originally supposed to end it. It started a week early this time but I'm not sure if it was a period; the blood was not red it was brown and not alot at all, lasted for around 2 days and ended, no more at all. I was supposed to start my period today as a regular time and I still haven't had it, no cramps or anything and it is NEVER late and I have been on BC for 8 years for irregular periods. If anyone else has had an experience like that I would love some input on if it's more than likely pregnancy or other things it might be. Thank you sooo much in advance. =) Also, in the 8 years I've been on BC my period has never started later or ever quit just like that (just a little info)

I got into a debate with my coworkers over this. I'd like to hear more opinions. Here's the situation:
They've been together less then a year. Boy had a great working relationship with her dad. Was allowed to date his daughter. She is known for wearing the pants in the relationship (yes even at their age!) That boy was whipped! lol. Now they find out she's 3 months preg. Age of consent is 15 in AZ. If charges were to be pressed(but i don't think they are) he could get 5 years in jail.

My opinion is that it takes two to tango. And even though she's only 14, knowing her, I have no problem saying she wouldn't have done it if she didn't want too. She probably initiated. I believe jailing the boy solves absolutely nothing, and only keeps him from offering what little he can for their baby (its his just as much as it is hers.) Why do so many people in this society punish the boy for something that both were involved in? His life is now changed just as much as hers is....

I had an abortion 5 years back and I am planning to get married soon.I don't want to let my husband know about my abortion even after my marriage.
Is it possible for him to identify whether I had an abortion or not?
Or if he doubt can he caught me by doing any kind of medical test or so ?

My first pregnancy was really stressful. i vomitted all day, everyday for the full nine months. i had morning sickness all day basically, i had a serious loss of appetite, and most of the time, just the thought alone of food made me sick. i was never anorexic or bullemic in my life. so i lost a lot of weight and got very weak and light headed a lot. my prenatal vitamins made me even sicker, because i could not hold down any food or water, i vomitted everything up ithing seconds. only in the last to or three months it got a little better. the baby was fine though. she was 8lbs at birth. she is almost 2 now and has brought so much love and happiness into my family's life! i am considering another baby to keep her comapny, but i am afraid to get pregnant again and be sick for another nine months. has anyone had similar experiences and would like to share them with me? how did your subsequent pregnancy go? was it the same or better? please let me know. thanks!

So, I have never had a period due to my medical conditions. It has caused other problems, but I am mostly concerned because that probably means I can never have children, right?
I mean, that kind of sucks because I just met my baby nephew and realized being a mom would be so awesome. My sister is such a good mommy:)
I guess I can adopt, or something else. But for now my dogs are my babies.
Please, no mean comments. I just want to know for sure.

At what week can I relax and not worry that If my son was born before 40 weeks that his lungs would be matured. Also my doc wants me to have a test to see if his lungs are matured. I forgot the name of the test. But It involves an amniocentesis, I really don't want that. I'm scheduled to have a C-Section.
