My husband and I have been trying to conceive now for 3 years. We have a daughter and had no problem getting pregnant then. We have been to the doctors, fertility methods so on and so on. My question is............if the male and female are postive vs. negative blood types, does this lessen our chances of getting pregnant? We also heard that positive vs. negative blood types will result in only one birth (I find that hard to believe). Anyone ever heard of anything like this before and is it harder to conceive if you are negative vs. positive blood types? Also, my husband and I are both "A" blood types. Is there anyone else out there that is the same blood type with their partner but negative vs. positive that has conceived more than once?
Thanks!

ok is he positive and you negative? if so, you shoul have been given a shot of rhogam during your pregnancy and also after birth if your daughter was positive.. the fact that you are both a type means nothing. its called RH incompatibility, and it doesnt affect a 1st pregnancy in any way but if you had a + baby in you, and you are -, your body will produce antigens against the + blood type. and any future children that you carry with + blood type will be attacked by the body as a foreign being.. does that make sense? i hope so. I dont think it impacts you abillity to conceive, but to carry a healthy baby to term, yes it does.. so yes if you have already been exposed to the + blood type and you are - and you didnt have your rhogam, it is entirely possible for you not to be able to carry another child to term.. i think they do have treatments like blood transfusions in utero that they can use to help the baby.. i'm a little rusty on that.. read this article, it should help... but none of this appiles to you unless YOU are A negative, and your husband is A positive.

The only factor that matters with blood types vs pregnacy is the Rh factor. Either positive or negative. Somehow when they correspond the chromosomes can attack each other causing you not to get pregnant. Also just relax. my sister had problems and kept on trying, I told her to relax, it will happen at the right time, now she is pregnant. If your husband wheres underwear, stop, if the testicles get to warm it could kill the sperm- move to doctors. During sex try being on the bottom- and hold your pelvic region up when he comes.

blood types do not have anything to do with getting pregnant or not but it has something to do with abnormal and normalities of the child thats why most states requires blood test before issuing weeding licenses!

Never heard that but if so there would never be this many people on earth! Also simple things like Yeast infections can cause infertility, you ont always show symptoms & you & huby could be passing it back & forth. If treated infertility can disappear. You both should see a doctor for a good once over. Best of Luck

The fastest way to get pregnant remains " going into debt". Take on a new house and a new car and " bingo" here will come a new baby! Good Luck!

i was born with my dads blood type and my mothers antibodys were eatting mine. i was in the hospital for 3 months becuase of it. my dad had to give blood becuase mine matched his. its really werried how she explained it to me but i dont know if that really has anything to do with it. it was alos 19 years ago and they told her that if they had anymore kids that i could happen again and that it could be worse the next time so they stoped at me.

Blood type has nothing to do with conception. Keep trying, and keep up with the latest medical info.

No, it is not true... just relax and try... always remember that if you are tense of not having a baby, you will not conceive, so just relax and enjoy life..
