If she has regular periods and already two weeks late, most home pregnancy tests are accurate enough to pick this up. Mine always came up positive the minute I missed my period. However, that's just me, other people are different. If you are having unprotected sex and are of the age where conception is likely, I think that she should stop wasting money on tests and see a doctor for a blood test and a pelvic exam which will be much more accurate.

she could be if shes that late. i would have her go to her ob. and have a blood test done they are a lot more accurate and you will get a better result. you could just be testing to soon with the home urine test. everyones body is different. but that is what i would do. you might have to wait till the following day for the results but in the end you know it will all be worth it..i wish you the best of luck and i hope she is pregnant that would be an awesome new years eve gift to celebrate

yes it sounds like your wife is pregnant. Tell her that the tests come out negative sometimes when you take them in the afternoon or at night. It is much better to take the test with your first pee of the day right in the morning. The same negative tests happened to me until someone told me to take the test with my first pee of the day. Have her try that.

I feel for you. I personally have not gone through this experience but it just really gets to me. You choose to love her and you dedicated yourself to her. To love is a decision, not a feeling. It is really up to you if you want to continue to be with her. Talk to her and tell her to start sorting things out right now. I know that you don't have the paternity tests but it is like you said, you don't want her to just "settle" for you. Tell her that to love is a decision and not a feeling. If she loves you then tell her to give up everything from her past. You both did make a commitment with each other. Try to seek marriage counseling for now. It might help you. Just try to do everything you can before settling for a divorce. I wish you the best.

Yep. Home test are alright. But, if I was her, I would be calling the doctor and getting an appointment as soon as possible. Good Luck!

She could be. Tell her to take the test first thing in the morning with her very first urine. If she is pregnant, her first morning urine will have the highest amount of Hcg (pregnancy hormone) in it and will be more accurate. I hope that you both get the results that you want.......Good luck!!!
