My son is 6 and a Feb baby also. Birthday parties are difficult but we have done parties at home. Kept the kids in the basement so as not to tear up the entire house. But our son is also into martial arts and they throw birthday parties there so that is what we did last year. Other people with winter babies have had parties at Chuck E Cheese (if there is one in your area), McDonalds with a playland, a local ice cream parlor may do parties as well. Sometimes local childrens museums also have birthday parties as well. A local gymnastics or gymboree play class also has birthday parties!

One of my daughters friends at kindy, had his birthday at Hungry Jacks (Burger King). He turned 3. It was not a good choice but the parents weren't to blame as it was their first time there for a party. The attendants did not know what they are doing. There excuse was oh we haven't had parties for children this young before. I'm sure they have.
Luckily they were only 2-3 and were easily entertained. But not my choice of places. Your home would be the best option. You child isn't going to fuss over where his party is as long as there friends are there and food of course they will have no worries in the world.

Do you have a YMCA or a hotel in your area that has a public (indoor :) pool? Most places like this provide lifeguards, so you don't have to worry about that, you (most likely) won't have to pay a fee, and if there is an admission fee, it will be small. So you can choose to let your guests pay their way in, or you could pay for their way in-either way would be fairly inexpensive. Or, there's always McDonald's. They'll take care of food (Happy Meals), and they'll usually do cake and ice cream, too. Or, bowling alleys can be fun. You can rent them out during the day when you'll practically have the whole place to yourself. If none of these places pan out, how about the gymnasium at your local school? Just an idea. Hope you have a gret time! Happy birthday to him! :)

Your home. A two year old isn't going to remember it anyway. Just have a nice family get together. And let them eat the cake.
