I have a 3 boys and my 5 year old is the middle child. He is in kindergarten and he has been suspended from school 2 times! The first suspension was on the 2nd week of school for kicking the principal when she was attempted to remove him from the classroom during a tantrum. Just to give you some history he comes from a home with his mother and his father (if that matters to anyone). We live in a house which we own (if that matters to anyone), and he is not abused physically, verbally, or mentally (if that matters to anyone). Some things we have tried:staying in his room, spanking, punishments, taking priveledges away, stern talking to and now he is seeing a child psychologist. The boy is extremely intelligent. As punishment for this suspension my husband and I have decided to not let him have any christmas presents from Santa or Mommy/Daddy or anyone else. Are we being unreasonable?

Any good advice on potty training a 2 yr. old. She seems interested in trying to wipe herself, but refuses to wear a pull up, big girl panties, or even just sit on the potty chair. She will sit on it fully dressed and watch tv. But, she doesn't seem to be ready to actually try to go potty in her chair.

Hi I'm dew for my period tomorrow and i've been having some pregnancy symptoms!
For the last 2 weeks I've had sore/tender breast for the last few days, i've also been going to the bathroom more...I've been having light cramps for the last week or two and now they are getting more mild! I've also had non-stop lower backaches and just today i've been gettin headaches off and on!! When i was sitting down for about 1 1/2 i got up and had felt really dizzy and when i was sitting down out of no where i got a dizzy spell!! Do you think it is possible i could be pregnant? If i dont get my montly cyle tomorrow i'm gunna take a test!! My last period was the 26th nov, i have regular 28 day cycles!! I dont remember exactly when but my partner and i had unprotected sex before my ovulation!! I dont know how many days though!?

I love indians, for I have Apache in my blood. My husband and I are into rodeo. I barrel Race and Team rope. My husband is a Bull and Bronc rider. My daughters names are: Apache-lynn Cheyenne and Eris Faylene. My son's name is Roper Dakotah. Eris was named by my oldest girl Apachelynn but still fits in with the names I already have going.. Kinda like Cowboy's and Indian's thing. Eris comes from the Greek name "Goddess of Chaos". Well, Cowboy's and Indian's, there was chaos.
So, I'm not finding out what I'm having on my last child, but want to keep the same motief going.. With maybe indian names or Country/ Rodeo names. Boy or Girl.. Help me!!!
My Dr. said "Remington" for a Boy or a girl cause it's a name of a gun and cowboy's used guns.. I'm in a stump!! Give me some ideas.

It seems like the only logical thing to do, especially when the girl is 16 or younger. And maybe 'Mr. Impregnator' is nowhere to be found. There are thousands of nice married couples who can't make a baby & they would provide for it well. While a young girl can't provide much of anything & it just seems so selfish to keep it.

OK, so I'm 5 days away from my due date. A week ago, I started having Braxton-Hicks that were, well, pretty painful. I went to my doctor less than a week ago and she told me that I was dilated 1 cm and that the baby was extremely low. Today, I've been having the urge to go to the bathroom many times. I wouldn't say it is diarhea, however, I never have the urge to go this many times. Last time I used the bathroom, I felt sharp shooting pains in my back. And now, I've been nauseated very badly. Is any of this signs of labor? I'm getting SO paranoid and I don't remember having any of this when pregnant with my daughter 5 years ago, but I know that every labor can be different.

I have a 19 year year old son that is recently very into Death Metal. I have looked at lyrics of some of his favorite bands. I see a lot of references to satan, killing and mutilation. The references to woman in particular worry me. What are the opinions on this? Is this something I should be worried about? He still comes home on time, goes to work and attends college, those are the pluses. The negatives are the new choice in friends. I am worried and confused any advice would be appreciated!

My 11 yr old son has pushing the limits all week and so my husband talked to him about things this morning. We felt the talk was successful and all was well. This afternoon my son asked if he could go play with some new kids he met in their yard. I said no because I didn't know them or where exactly he was going to be. He asked if he could continue to skateboard. I said yes. I went out to call him in shortly after that. I had to drive around the neighborhood and found him several blocks away playing street football with 3 20ish age guys who were smoking and drinking. He lied on more than one aspect, talked to strangers, disobeyed me and went outside his distance limits. He knows he is not to stay at anyone's house without telling me first let alone strangers! I can't see beyond the worry of what could've happened and anger at his behavior to think of what to do at this point. Any ideas?

I have a 2 month old and I was wondering when I should start using the level 2 nipples on him. For now, he is using level one - that came with the 2 and 4 oz bottles. He wants to have more than 4 oz at times and I am using the bigger 8 oz bottles. So, when do I start the level 2 nipples? and then level 3? and ofcourse what is c and y style nipples? I wish the package said what ages for what levels...anyway, can someone help me out?? Thanks!!

Do you all think giving a 15 year old a baby shower is appropriate? I asked this question because a friend of mine refused to let her daughter attend her teen friend's baby shower recently. My wife and I are at our wits end. We have a 4 month old baby who for the most part is a great little guy. Problem is, he never sleeps! Not more than an hour or so at a time, no exaggeration.
He is not bottle fed, so it's hard to say how much he is actually eating, so now it seems like he is using the feedings to help him sleep.
Any help is appreciated, we need some sleep!

My friend is having a baby boy. She is deciding wether to give the child the name Alexander or Xander. If she chooses Alexander, she will call him Xander. Her husband wants to use Xander, so people FOR SURE call him that, but my friend wants a proper name, that will carry into adulthood. Whats peoples opinions? I've liked him for a couple of years, he's in one of my classes now...yada yada. [we're 15]. k, he was my first major crush and all I can say was, I didn't know what to do so I'd always stare at him [at lunch, in between classes etc.] I always thought it was cute/funny, how he always [even w/his back turned] seemed to know I was looking at him, and how he'd turn around and look at me. That was the stupid me...like I said, now he's in 1 of my classes and he always looks at me now. I'm not gonna lie, I still like him, but now I'm kinda thinking he likes me 2. I can't really describe it, it's like the little things we do around each other, but in class i was reading and my teacher told me to put it away, and he was staring at me, and my friend was like why do you always stare at her do you like her? He has a very jokey personality, so he said yea I like her. It didn't sound sarcastic but I think it really was, I dunno.

well we have two small children ages three and a half and two years old. im am now pregnant with our third. mind you these were all planned by both of us. yet now that im four months along it seems that im the only one giving up anything. he told me that he would stop going out with his buddies now that im pregnant and he knows it upsets me yet hes out again right now with my brother. i am home now while the two children are sound asleep trying to wrap gifts by myself and he is out with my brother at this club that just opened up. now i know that he needs his space to do things too but really i need attention. i need him here. im sick of him leaving every saturday with his friends and my brother. i know he is faithful my brother would tell me if he wasnt and i do trust my husband thats not the point. the point is why does he need to go out and leave me alone when he knows it upsets me so? Oh and i have talked to him about this and he said he would not do it anymore until the baby comes

I'm a new mum of a 2 week old. We had attachment problems with her latch in the hospital which ended up with me having cracked nipples. We've fixed the latch problems now, but my nipples are still sore when she latches on, but then they are fine throughout the feeding. How long does this take to heal? I am using Lansinoh cream which is helping a bit (I think).
