ok i am having brown discharge now (sorry about being nasty) and i thing i might start on monday. why the brown for? plus i am having lower back pain. some help would be nice. i also took a test and that came back neg.

The backpain can be premenstrual. Brown discharge means that the blood is not fresh. Don't worry. It happens and happens more often as you get older.
Response to additional comments: you've simply had a premenstrual contraction...it cleaned out any older blood. There is nothing to worry about.

It is sometimes normal to have a brownish discharge if your body if fighting an infection, whether you are aware of it or not. But, if I were you, I would get an appointment with your doctor to make sure that you are not pregnant. If you are, this "spotting: could be a sign of "implantation bleeding", which means that a fertilized egg is burrowing in your uterus.

blood sometimes appears to be brown, depending on how old it is and where it comes from, if your going to "start" on monday then maybe you could be starting now?? I'm not sure, my best advice would be to go see a doctor

i think of i be attentive to what you're speaking approximately. Sounds lots like my era, yet everytime. i'm on pills for that now, nonetheless. Are you taking any hormones to help you get pregnant? that's the reason. i could say talk on your physician, in case you don't be attentive to what's up.

It's normal discharge mixed with vaginal tissue. It's from your last period. It is VERY normal. It's the stuff that didn't come out of you (not to be gross) last period.
Everybody gets it once in a while. You don't need to call a doctor.

Sometimes, when you are pregnant, you have a slight discharge that is just hormones. It is natural, but sort of gross anyways. I asked my doctor about it, and you should too.

Sure you aren't pregnant ? Sounds like its very possible....... Sometimes brown discharge is from implantation.....

you probably got kicked (or some other blunt trauma) to the kidneys, its brown because its tainted with blood. you may have internal bleeding.
see a doctor.
yes, a bleeding kidney would produce both Lower back pain, and brown discharge.
