My eight month old has bad diarea. Is there any way that I can get rid of it? or is there any way that i can make him feel more comfortable with any upset stomach? He also has eattin very well today. What can I do?

my daughter wrote me a letter telling me she she was pregnant with twins and she is 7 months she said i never noticed nothing and said i was a mean mother...i didnt act mean with her but she was mad this was 3 days ago yesterday we went to the hospital because she was having contractions every 5 to 10 minutes well she ended up having to stay in the hospital and is gonna have a c-section today around 5 or 6..do u think i acted to nice to her or do u think i shouldve acted more mad also do u think she started having these pains because she got scared and depressed on what i was gonna say???

I know a woman that named her kids Audrey, Grace, Eva, John, Julie and Maureen, for Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Eva Gabor, John Wayne, Julie Andrews, and Maureen O'Hara.. they were born in the 60s. Even though these are common names she had said that they were actually named after the actors. Have any stories like this?

I was 8 weeks pregnant and I started going through a miscarriage, I had heavy bleeding for 2-3 days followed by spoting for about a week, after going to the Dr. she ordered a vaginal ultrasound and now my bleeding is heavier, should I be worried? ... And a non-medical question, my co-workers were upset for my calling in sick the day that I found out about the miscarriage, should I share this with them or just let them be mad and in the dark? it makes it more painful when people are not understanding that I am actually sick and not just faking it to skip work.

My prenatal OTC ones list all the different vitamins and I am also taking a folic acid supplement on top of that. My docotor prescribed something called Expecta which doesnt list any vitamins just says its a DHA supplement (omega 3 fatty acid). So can I take both? As they seem different? or would i just be having a vitamin overload?

In reguards to all who answered my question. My fiance is not a scum bag he is very caring towards my first daughter and me. he was young when his ex got pregnant and he told her he didnt want that to abord it and I think she kept it to hold onto him. She is still to this day trying to be with him reguardless how he treats her kid. this is frustrating... And he did use a condom they arent 100 percent especially when they break. Im tired of people looking down on him for some stupid little female trying to have a kid to have something to hold onto him by.

His great grandma is on her death bed, we will be lucky if she makes it until Christmas. The question is, is it best for him to go to her funeral or to stay with someone else. I am not sure how he will handle it. Any comments?

my boyfriend and i thought i was pregnant, because i forgot the last time i had my period. we were just laying together last night and he had his hand on my stomach and then he took his hand off like he took something out though, so i was like what are you doing? and he said your not pregnant anymore so then i said, what do you mean? and he said i prayed to god and told him we werent ready and to please take the baby away because you dont want a baby right now. and then he was saying id have my period soon and that everything will be ok now. and, i got it this morning. yeah its a silly question but the only reason why im questioning it is because i did feel like i had a little person in me and that i loved it, and as crazy as it sounds..i actually felt like i missed it like it actually was gone after he said all that. so my question is, is that even possible god could have done that?

Last month 14 yo daughter Amanda came home late again. Told her she was grounded for month, no phone, internet or TV. She cried and begged us for anything else, even a spanking. We told her she is too old, but then she mouthed off so her mom spanked her! nothing much, little more than a dozen smacks with a wooden spoon over her jeans. I still grounded her.

She gave us cold shoulder for a few days and said she was very embarrassed, was treated like 5 y.o. and told mom spanking didn't hurt! Mom told her next time she gets it from me (Dad) and she will get it good! Amanda said there is no way I would ever do that (2 years since last did), I replied I wouldn't be so sure of that. She turned 4 shades of red and apologized to us and became very polite. However, same thing happened again. Amanda mouthed off, we reminded her, she blushed and became polite.

How many more chances to give? when I was her age I would have really gotten it by now. Would like to avoid.

I was at a store doing some last minute shopping. I was waiting in line to checkout and this lady was in front of me with a little girl who was about 4 years old. The little girl ask the woman if she could have some candy and the woman's response to the little girl was to grab her by her hair and yank all the way to the door, the whole time she had the little girl's hair in her grip. The little girl was crying and telling the woman she was sorry. I felt so bad, I wanted to say something so bad, but fearing it would make things worse, I kept quiet. I am all for discipling your children, but this seemed to be to be a bit extreme. I just wanted to get your views on this because I was upset by witnessing this and wondered if I was over-reacting.
