Pregnancy & Parenting - 13 December 2006

Im on Metformin as i have pcos and my partner and i are trying for a baby. I never have regular periods but in the last week or 2 i have been feeling very sick everytime i eat and am off my food and i keep going very light headed all the time and people keep telling me how pale i look. I can't get up anymore in the mornings and half way through the day i feel like i have to just sit and close my eyes.

For the last few days i have been having spots of blood when i go to the toilet but nothing heavy enough to need to use anything. I just know what my body is doing as i feel so different in myself and my stomach is rock hard laty and my breast are so tender.

I know you all probably think why doesn't she just do a test but i have been having treatment for so long and have had so many negative tests im so scared to do one incase igt disapointed again.

What do you think and has anyone had this before???

Her mom and dad are in the middle of getting divorced and her dad has no place to go her dad drinks and sometimes he sllep in a tent.She told she can feel when he is in the tent and she feels that she needs to chck on him.I feel bad for her she gose through all this and sometime well most of the time she gets yelled at by her mom for no reason.

I gave my husband an Ipod for his birthday and he lets his 8 year old son use it. His son has lost two expensive games of his own, has an Ipod of his own but not the latest. IT bothers me that he is allowed to grab it out of his dad's hands and play with it. For some reason it bothers me, even though in my mind I know a gift is a gift, with no strings attached. What mind exersice can I do to get over this?

Me and my friend are trying to have a baby. I am twenty years old and never been pregnant before. Everyone I know has either gotten pregnant before or are pregnant now. We have unprotected sex for about six months now and nothing. I feel like we been trying for almost a year and I am scared that I may not be able to have kids. Me and a former boyfriend also had unproteted sex a alot and I never became pregnant by him either. I delibertly tried to get pregnant and I feel that I can't give my man the son or daughter that he wants. My daughters daycare recently asked that i remove them from there due to MY concern with how vague their billing practices are and BY ME telling the director i was going to let the community know of this she kicked them out. in all the time my kids have gone there my kids have not caused any problems. my kids are not perfect angels in any way but they have done nothing wrong. and they are paid in full with no balances overflowing. (the billing outline) is printed on a form,but extremely vague.Since they no longer go there am i entitled to pull their medical and personnal records from there? they should have no records of them if they no longer go there? or am i wrong?

He is wanting to begin playing the Clarinet in his (beginning) band class, however, I am afraid that being young and impressionable this might make his school life difficult, because I remember when I was in school it was more or less an only girl instrument similar to the flute. I do want him to be happy playing music even if it is the clarinet, however I don't want him to suffer because of it either?

What is it with all the questions teens are asking about " I didnt use a condom and Im pregnant how do I tell my parents?" or I didnt where a condom and my girlfreind is pregnant what should I do?" Simple solution protect yourself and you have less of a chance of this happening. Eveyone thinks sex feels good without protection but think about how its going to feel when you end up pregnant or with some nasty desease and AIDS is now number 3 as far as deadliest deases in the world. What is up with all the ignorance and not using common sence ? Teens are obviously going to have sex but why be so ignorant about it and put yourself at risk, sex can be like russain roullett one time and it can kill you!!!!!

I am 15 weeks pregnant and my ob said that the top part of my belly measures to be 20 weeks and the bottom is right on track at 15 weeks. Has anyone else ever been told the same thing? Seems strange to me but I know all is well in there ;).

I have a teenager daughter and I want to be realistic in my expectations with her. Of coarse as a mother I would like her to focus on studies and meet her prince "The One and Only" when she is in her 20s. But it does not sound realistic. She is a girl mostly within the average of her group, so she probably will "go with the flow". What are the statistics here?

When your child does something good and you reward them do they want to keep doing that? If you dont punish them when they do something bad do tey keep doing it? And if you punish them do they do it again or make the right choice?

I have been TTC for 3 months. I am on cycle day 39, 16 DPO. What could cause a "LONG" luteal phase other than luteal cysts? My luteal phase is 14 days with irregular cycles. (My BBT charts look typical, and are very acurate along with EWCM, positive OPK, and cervical position @ CD 22.)

does anyone here have their child/ren enrolled there?
my son (5yrs) desperatly needs to intereact with other kids (boys) his age, and he really would love sports, this is the closest in my city that doesn't require him to attend/ practice on Saturdays (this for personal/religious reasons)
i would appreciate any and all feedback on this program as well as how much is tuition. I would like to know as much as i can before i contact them.

i know it is possible to be pregnant even if you had your period on time. it's possible but not likely. i know that much. but i have been tired lately. i can go to bed at 10 and barely be able to get up at 7. 9 hours of sleep should be plenty. i used to not have any trouble getting up on that schedule. i am eating a lot more lately and i haven't gotten on a scale but my stomach seems to be getting bigger. i wake up in the mornings feeling like i'm going to throw up. i took a test yesterday and it came up showing error. my friend says she just knows i am pregnant. what are some other signs of pregnancy?

i know in some families everyone wants to be there during delivery and immediately after and the mother never gets a moment alone with the new baby.....which is fine for some people....but i'm thinkin when i have a baby i wouldn't want anyone at the hospital (except my husband).......just wondering if anyone else felt the same and how they told their family not to come to the hospital...

Can a alter ego be real to some people?

I have an alter ego, and some times I feel like she is right there with me. Like I sorta feel like when something that isnt me happens she is the one doing it.

i am breastfeeding my son and it seems like he eats anywhere from 30- 45 minutes on each breast. my first son never ate that much, which he didn't weigh as much either. my mom and her bf say hes starting to fill out,but i don't know.
another thing. he's been having problems opening his left eye and when he does open it he has this mucusy stuff in it. my husband says that its because he sleeps alot and thats why he has the mucusy stuff coming out of his eye. he doesn't go to the doctor until DEC 19TH. he's only a week old.

1st baby was 28 1/2 hrs,11yrs later 2nd baby 10 hrs. 3rd due 1 1/2 yrs after 2nd. both @ 37wks & boys. Hoping for girl, but deffinitly want it healthy first.
