Oh heaven's! They try to make a precise science out of everything! Every woman is different, as is every pregnancy.
When I was pregnant with my 1st child, the doctor thought I was way too big and going to have twins or triplets! Then, when I was far enough along for an ultrasound, we found only one baby in there. I was a whale! And she was only 6 lbs 4 oz at birth. The week following the birth I dropped 40 lbs in water weight.
Best Wishes to you and baby,
Sue

I am almost 17 weeks pregnant, and havent had my belly measured yet, but I go to the doctor again tomorrow, I was kinda wondering about the size of my belly, I know at my last appointments the baby was still pretty low, and the top of my belly seems to be growing very fast in the last week or two. Im sure im not helping you any, but it kinda seems to me like were in the same boat, good luck.

I am 36 weeks and 1 day along right now...and at my last 2-3 appointments...I was measuring 2 weeks smaller than what should... I go in again for another visit today...to see if I am on track now..and also to check dialations...and all the other routine stuff..but anyway....good luck with your pregnancy!!!

At 15 weeks I was measuring at 21-22 weeks. At 35 weeks (when I had my son) I was measuring at about 44 weeks lol. My son is completely normal. I had no excess fluid or anything, just a big uterus.
Congrats.

I wonder where your placenta is...bc mine is at the top so the doctor told me I two things may happen, I would not feel the baby as quickly as others, and I may apear to be more bloated than I am!!! Everyone's body is different. Also what time of day was this...bc I am a different size by noon than I am when I first wake up.

The baby could have been sitting higher at that time. I wouldn't worry. Those measurements are all just guesses on the average anyways. Your doctor will let you know if there is soemthing you should be concerned with.
My first pregnancy they told me my baby would be luck to be 7lbs. - she came out (on time) at 8lbs 11oz
My second they said my baby would be about 7 1/2 lbs. He came out 9lbs 1oz.
By the third, my doctor said he gave up with me because I always proved him wrong - she came out 9lbs 8 oz!
It's all just estimates and guesses!
Congrats and Good Luck!

Sounds weird. Never heard of that. I thought your belly was just one size. Don't know how to answer this one. Sorry
