Pregnancy & Parenting - 13 December 2006

I found out i was pregnant and had an ultrasound a week ago because i wasn't sure how far along I was. The lady doing the ultrasound said that I had to be 4 1/2 weeks along because she couldn't see anything. I know I am farther along then that because I was 3 1/2 weeks late already when I took the pregnancy test. Could she be wrong? and I believe I am about 8 weeks or 7 weeks pregnant and showing. My pants arn't fitting me right I had to rubberband them to make them fit. I'm not getting sick I just feel sick all the time... I'm tired all the time... my breast hurt horribly.... my mother is a twin and my father is a twin and I had a great grandpa a twin. . . do you think I could be showing because I might be having twins... and could that effect why the ultrasound lady couldn't see anything?

my LMP was 11/15/06..and on 12/10/06 i had light pinkish blood but only when i wiped...on the 10th in the night...it started heavy...it keeped till the 11th...i went online and read about implantation bleeding being only light so i thought it was my regular period...well this morning (12/13/06) i woke up with a completely clean pad...even when i wipe there isnt anything there....could it be the implantation bleeding or just a short period?...im onlyl ooking for serious answers. thank you

Do you suppose it's possible to worry so much about ending up pregnant you create symptoms? It's possible I'm pregnant.... but I can't help but notice feeling sick and queazy throughout the day and I get these nasty cramps that come and go every once in a while. Am I making stuff up in my mind?

I had a miscarriage on the 4th. It did not end in a D&C. I was only 6 weeks so my body pushed the baby out naturally that day. I stopped bleeding about 4-5 days ago. I feel fine and I havnt been in any pain since the day of my miscarriage. The Dr. at the E.R. said that I couldnt have sex for 6 weeks! On the other hand I have read that as soon as you stop bleeding it is okay and that is for woman who had had a d&c which is more dangerous than having a natural miscarriage. Also, the Dr. said that we couldnt try to get pregnant again for at least 3 months. I have read that as soon as you are able to have sex or you can wait a cycle it is safe because you are more fertile and more likely to get pregnant within three months following the miscarraige. What should we do???

When I started my son on baby food his doctor suggested that we introduced veggies first because sometimes if you start fruits first they will take a liking to them and not the veggies. Well not my son apparently. He won't eat fruits. He just spits them out. I gave him veggies and he eats the whole jar with no problem! I still offer fruits but still no luck. He's had peaches, bananas and applesauce. Anyone else have this problem?

I am beside myself right now. My brother called me this morning and said that his wife had called him on his way to work and told him something that made him immediatly turn back around and go home. He says that my 4 yr. old nephew told my sister-n-law and also told my brother that the other day when he was at their house, my son who is 10 pulled out his "pee pee" and put it in my nephews mouth. My nephew also says that my son "peed on him, bit him and pinched him". My first response was to think that there is no way that my son would have done that, but on the other hand this is my 4 yr. old nephew we are talking about, so how could a child that age lie. We did have a situation a few months back involving my stepchildren and they were touching each other very inappropriatly and they actually involved my 12 yr. old neice in their "playing". We did call CPS to get them to investigate that situation, and they seem to think that there was no abuse, it was just kids experimenting.------>

there is a 17 yr. old girl who is tired of her parents actin like kids and treatin her like a baby... she as the opportunity to leave with her bf and live with him and his family... they are willin to help her find a good job and help her go to college.. is it alright to leave with this kind of opportunity ahead? legal matters? or anything of that sort... this girl is lookin down 2 path ways.. run away or live with her bf... she really hates her house life with her parents acting like kids then when she messes up over reacting.. ex. when she arrived 4 min. late comin from her bf's house,and having a curfew of comin home at 8 her dad flipped out and started screamin and tellin her she can't go out anymore and sayin he doesn't trust her and doesn't believe she will make anything of her self in life...what does she do? she turns 18 in a few months and her parents don't understand that she is growing up they wont let her drive,cook,clean,or anything they say she is still a little kid,help!

The first day of my last period was Nov. 10, 2006. Which was 33 days ago. My boyfriend and I have been trying to get pregnant. I know I should just go out and get a home test (which I will do the end of this week) but I was wondering if anyone knows how long it will be until I can be positive.

I always have slept on my stomach but now that I am pregnant friends have told me to sleep on my side that sleeping on your tummy is really bad. Is that true? I end up waking up all night cause I am not comfortable. I understand when I get huge that I won't be able too, but can I now?

My 10 month old squirms and thrashes every time I change his diaper, change his clothes, bathe him. I've tried everything to get him to settle down like singing to him or distracting him visually but those only work for a few seconds. These things have become such a battle! I understand he wants the freedom to move and explore but these are necesities that i can't just avoid.
He's not experiencing any pain or discomfort and it has nothing to do with his private area because he also struggles when we put on his socks or even a bib!
Helpful suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I took 6 six pg tests last week cuz I was two weeks late. All of them came back positive. I kept retesting cuz I thought how is that possible, but everytime I get a blood test it comes back negative. I just got one yesterday and it was negative. I was having all symptoms of pregnancy, but then they all went away when I thought I had a miscarriage yesterday, excepot the docs say I was never pregnant. How could six tests of different brands from different stores all come back positive just two days before the blood test and if I were pregnant why did I get my period and the cramps. I am so confused on why this happened. I would like to know some ideas on what people think.
