She will be an adult soon. Until then her parents have the right to control her. Maybe she should get a job and show some responsibility and they may let her do more and it will prepare her for the real world. If she moves in with her BF she will most likely end up preggo. She doesn't have long to wait, she will be 18 in no time.

Unless she can prove in court that she can support herself and get emancipated, then technically leaving home is running away and anyone who helped her would be guilty of contributing to the delinquecy of a minor. It really depends on how her parents would take it, but they sound like the type to call the cops, have her brought home kicking and screaming and press charges. She's better off hanging there until her birthday when all the legal problems go away.

If she only has a few months until she is 18, then she should wait those few months. I was in a similar situation. If shw doesn't wait the few months until she is 18 than there is some legal action that her parents can take.

Go with what your heart tells you. Don't forget to think of the future and how the choices you make now will effect you later in life.
