I found out i was pregnant and had an ultrasound a week ago because i wasn't sure how far along I was. The lady doing the ultrasound said that I had to be 4 1/2 weeks along because she couldn't see anything. I know I am farther along then that because I was 3 1/2 weeks late already when I took the pregnancy test. Could she be wrong? and I believe I am about 8 weeks or 7 weeks pregnant and showing. My pants arn't fitting me right I had to rubberband them to make them fit. I'm not getting sick I just feel sick all the time... I'm tired all the time... my breast hurt horribly.... my mother is a twin and my father is a twin and I had a great grandpa a twin. . . do you think I could be showing because I might be having twins... and could that effect why the ultrasound lady couldn't see anything?

if twins run that strongly in your family, it is possible that it could be twins. but i would try getting a second ultrasound before making any assumptions. twins or not , you wouldn't be showing this early on in the pregnancy. you wouldn't start showing until the beginning of your second trimester if it was twins (my cousin is currently pregnant with twins). it is possible it's water weight or b/c you know you're pregnant your eating habits may have changed. everyone carries differently and everyone gains weight differently but i'd take a closer look at what you're eating and how active you are during the day. (i hope i didn't sound rude, i don't mean to). but either way, congrats!!

Aww sounds like you most likely will be...cus my mom said twins runs along in the genes of your family members and sometimes skips generations, but your case sounds different! I don't think it will skip you... :) Aww how sweet...I want twins someday! Well congrats chick!

Not necessarily. Expect a lot of bloating in the first trimester. I mean it could be twins (esp. considering your family history) but I wouldn't say it definitely is.
