Can a alter ego be real to some people?
I have an alter ego, and some times I feel like she is right there with me. Like I sorta feel like when something that isnt me happens she is the one doing it.
Can you explain why thisd may happen?

You're an imaginitive person and its okay. Some people use journals and some people paint. You're expressing yourself in the way you choose. Having an alter ego is perfectly normal.

Well, 'alter ego' it's really more to do with personality disorder, it's an actual disease, but sometime people do things that they don't realize they're doing or they do realize but their bodies are moving without them...er.. without their 'order' i should say for a lack of better word. It's more like a trance where your doing this unconsciously. It doesn't mean that you have an alter ego. you can always ask a psychiatrist about these things.

This could be a psychological disorder, but no one on here is going to diagnose you one way or the other.
A professional might evaluate you for DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder), which used to be known as MPD (Multiple Personality Disorder).
Or you could just have a very vivid imagination.
If you are concerned, and doing things you can't control, see a professional for a thorough psychiatric evaluation.

i had one my whole life until like a year ago when i got saved ...........i'm much happier now! much! the only trouble is now i have to find myself! but it's worth it to finally get that vioce out of my head ! everything about me has changed because i was living for my alter ego. i feel like the song unwritten by natasha bendingfield. i love it!

this is the crucial thing with naming names. often times we become whop we are because of how we are called. alter egos usually imitate their other self. it could be coincidental but at times it is really a revelation of who we really are based on what we see from our others elf.
