My wife she did not get period 20 days.And Latter started again
so she was pregnent or not?

My back hurts but that's pretty much about it...I don't really waddle or anything and I don't feel like she is down that far at all but when the Dr checked me she could feel her head. Shouldn't I? Also I'm worried that if I have sex..we'll poke her. LOL.

Hello, my baby is now 3 months old and he's currently being breastfed. I pump for work and he's been taking 4 ounces pretty easily. When should I expect him to take more during his feedings? Thanks, Millie

Is it bad to take other vitamins along with prenatal vitamins? I've been taking prenatals with 400mcg of folic acid. I give my son flinstone vitamins and will sometimes take one of his. (usually his idea) His vitamins also have 300mcg of folic acid. Would that be like an overdose of folic acid? I haven't taken any of his since I've been on prenatals, but I was just wondering. I'm 26 and trying to conceive a second child.

I am 9 weeks pregnant and for the last couple of weeks have not been getting good sleep. I'll only get maybe 2 or 3 solid hours, then I'll wake up and won't be able to fall asleep. On my days off I try to go to bed with my husband, anywhere from 11pm to 1 am...I can usually fall asleep, but then I wake up and can't get back to sleep. It happened to me this am, I've been awake since about 7, I went to sleep around 4am (I worked the night before, and it uaually takes about a day to get back on track.) Any suggestions?

I'm concerned about my son. Every day he comes home with a goofy grin on his face and acts very hyper. I find empty coke bottles all over his room but he denies they are his. His friends tell me he does coke about 4 to 5 times a day, and even the school supplies it! I found out they sell coke for $1 a bottle at his school. Should I call the police? How can I help my son kick the deadly habit of coke?

mother of child is seeking child support payments for this child behind her husbands back her husband has no idea of what is going on. Had a affair with her, child may be mine not sure. child was born to thier marrige 4 yrs ago.she wants money sent to a different address so her husband will not find out. can she suit me for paternity if it has been established with her husband? He's 14 and 6 months ago was doing bad stuffl. Bad crowds, unnacceptable behavior, he even was kinda mean to his younger sister. He got a severe punishment and woke up to what he was doing. He changed completely, made up for with his sister and today is an excellent kid. But that punishment traumatized him, he got depressed, feeling guilty, avoids friends, is always lone and lonely. His only social contact is with 2 friends and some people at a church where he volunteered to some activities. He was forgiven completely, but avoids us, is never at ease when we're around. It's hard to talk to hi. His respectful, today we have nothing to complain, but avoids us. Some days ago we could have a talk with him, he said he feels guilty, we'll always remind him of what happened. He also says he agrees what he did was wrong, but think we were too harsh and doesnt beleive we love him. Something broke inside him, he cant see us as loving parents any more. And each day he's more depressed and sad

My 14 yr old brother just started smoking. My dad is a smoker and doesn't know whether or not he has the right to try and stop him or not. He wants to be a good example but he doesn't want to be a hypocrite either. Also, he knows a kid is gonna find a way to do what they want anyway. If a kid wants to smoke, they're gonna smoke. What does everyone think? Hypocritical or not?

Im 37 weeks and baby meauring 42 I am 4 cm dialated and fully effaced but baby is still "floating" not in birth canal.About 5 days ago I had my bloody show and for the past 4 days I have had brown and pink discharge. I woke up this morning and my crotch hurts real bad and when I wiped there was streaks of blood dark red blood, I dont think my stomach dropped at all so what is happening? Should I go to doc?

Is their anything that you think you did differently that suggested that it was the sex of your baby?!? Like I heard craving meat and cheese meant it was a boy and craving fruits meant it was a girl. Is this true? and is there anyway to tell the sex before the 5 month ultrasound?!? It doesn't really matter...I was just wondering.

I am 19 weeks today. I don't feel all the discomforts that I did the first trimester. My heartburn is gone, my boobs don't hurt, and I don't feel the bloated feeling like I did. I have had several sonograms due to high risk and babys heart is always good and baby is growing well. I have had two miscarriages in the first trimester and I am scared of things. I think I have felt baby move but am not for sure because I am so early on. I have gas problems and I can feel gas moving around my bowels. Has anyone else experienced this and everything was fine?

I went to the doctor Tuesday because I was having really bad nausea ( I thought it was just morning sickness) they ran some tests on me and told me that I had a really bad kidney infection. They gave me a shot for the infection in my hip. Wednesday they asked me to come back to check and see if it had helped any. They gave me another shot in my hip. They also gave me some pills to take. Is this okay? Will the shots hurt the baby or anything? Has anyone else had one? Tell me about your experience and how you felt. If your wondering (It's my first pregnancy and I don't know what to expect.)

My daughter is 2- 3 in April of '07 and she has just recently (maybe the past 3 months or so) had her own room and her own bed. She has done decent up until the past two weeks or so. Now, I'll wake up in the mornings and she'll have her pillow and covers at some random place in the house asleep on the floor or something. What I think is odd is she never comes to our bed. This morning I found her in the kitchen under the table fast asleep. I found her behind the couch the other day, or layed up against her door in her room .... Is this normal? What do I do to stop it?

I'm currently at odds w/my son's school for allowing students outside during recess in the cold weather. They say kids go outside when temperature is minimum 5 degrees. "Extreme" weather conditions are below 5 degrees &/heavy rain/snowfall. I totally disagree & understand that colds come from viruses & the spread of germs, etc. but as a mother with an asthmatic 5 yr.old who doesn't like to keep a hat on his head....if my son gets sick, he's more prone to have an attack & while the cold weather is indeed a "trigger" for his asthma, no one can really say at what temperature & in what conditions would set off an attack. My concern is more so that he'll get sick w/sniffles & a sore throat & go downhill from there. If he gets a chest cold with a bad cough & congestion, THAT for sure will aggravate his asthma & I have a problem with that. Even if my son didn't have asthma, I think 5 degrees is too cold for the kids to go outside. I personally believe 35 & under is too cold. Am I wrong?

When I was younger, my father was very strict with us, my sister and I... It seems as though he has this double standard with boys. I'm pregnant with a boy and already he's talking about how he's going to be a troublemaker, and saying that his mother always told him that he was going to have a son just like him... As a mother, this is the last thing I want to think about. I told him, that he already had his children. How can I prevent him from saying things like this in the future from my child? I believe that he could use negative reinforcement and it could be detrimental to my child's development socially and academically.

I am 17 weeks pregnant. Just to tell you a little about myself I am 22. When I got pregnant I weighed 127 lbs. and I am 5'1" tall. I've gained about 8 pounds so far. I'm not really showing just looking chunky through the middle. In the morning when I wake up I can put my hand on my belly and my "bump" is a lot more noticable than normal. It is usualy my whole lower stomach area. This morning it was all on the lower right side. I got up and urinated and came back to bed and then I couldn't feel it anymore. I have a routine doctors appointment Tuesday so I am going to ask him then but I am freaking out and curious to know if anyway has experienced this same thing. I appreciate any answers to what I could be feeling or why? Bladder or baby? Something else?
