You can have intercourse until you head to the hospital to deliver. The semen helps to induce labor. But you have to find a comfortable position for the mom to be. Once you start showing sometimes it's harder to find a good style. My doctor told me that doggie style and reverse cowgirl are two of the easier styles to use because mom can control how much and how far and how hard. (not being gross, or perv about it either). But the say wait like four to six weeks post birth to start up again. Make sure the mom is comfy with anything that happens though. Good luck and Congrats.

If you're gentle, this is a normal pregnancy and it's not causing discomfort for the mother, right up until you head for the hospital!
Some women do have high risk pregnancies, preterm labor or discomfort during intercourse, so it would be best to receive guidance from her physician based on her individual situation.

As long as it's not a high risk pregnancy, from about the second or third month up to the end. It depends on how the mother feels though; the baby wouldn't even notice what's up because the cervix is tightly shut until contractions start in the ninth month.

When I was pregnant my doctor told me it was safe until my water broke. He also went on to say that it will do no harm, but will make mom feel better.

drs say up till delivery. if you are overdue drs also say that semen can help thin out the cervix. unless it hurts the women you can have regular intercourse up until delivery.
