I believe that I am pregnant, but I am only 10 dpo and I have had some sharp shooting pains in my left breast. Also, I have noticed that they feel heavier and I have had a sore ARM PIT? it seems like the sensitivity is gradually taking over my whole chest from my arm pits and it is working it's way to nipples. Does this sound normal to anyone or is it cause for alarm? I am planning on taking a test in a couple of days...wish me luck!

I don't have any children, so of course, I don't know what it's like. However, I can't help but think that the parent-child bond should be unbreakable, so I can't imagine why or how any parent can disown a child.

On average how much? How much weight did your toddler gain between one and two years?
I am asking because I want to know if the reusable nappies I am getting will fit her until potty training(hopefully just before 2) or if I should get the large size and have them be a little too big for a while.
She is 15 months old and weighs 20 pounds, the nappies go up to 25lb.

My son on Friday came home from head start saying that Santa is not real. I am not sure how to react to him saying this. I want Christmas to be majestical for him and my two year old daughter, but this to not be weighing on his mind. I also think he is too young to tell him such things, and wondered if a parent has told their child, who in turn has told his or her classmates...

When my cousin was pregnant she would eat 3 to six cups of ice a day, through her whole pregnancy. Is that normal or was it just her.

My son is 13 months and still nurses at night when he wakes up at least 2-3 times. How do I get my son to wean away from nursing at night and for him to sleep throughout the night? Nursing at night now may cause him to have teeth decay if I continuously nurse.

Should I just run a "test load" and see if she has a reaction? She's 3 months.

I know I ovulated 6 days ago according to my ovulation predictor kit and cervical fluid. I checked my ovulation microscope the day after ovulation and it didn't have any ferning, I checkd it for yesterday and today and it had ferning.

Could I be pregnant? Why else would the scope have ferning when I am not fertile according to my cervical fluid and ovualtion tests?

Did anyone else experience this?

We are hoping I am pregnant, but I have to wait another week to test!

ok first i know i should go to the doctor and i am very soon. but i like to se all of your opinions as well. ok i have never missed a period or even been more than 2 days late before. my husband and i are trying to have a baby. as of today i am over a week late on my period, i have taken 2 pregnany tests and they were both negative, i am not stressed and i do not have a stressful life. the only thing i can think of is that my doctor put me on prevacid for for 6 weeks and i stopped taking it after 2 1/2 weeks because of the horrible things i read about it. none of the side effects listed are a missed period. but i read about 2 girls saying that it causes missed periods. but what are the odds right? i guess my question is what are the chances of a pregnancy test being wrong one week after a missed period? or has anybody had this happen to them after taking prevacid. oh i used first response hpt
thank you for your answers:)

I just got rid of the "BA" as my 16month old calls them last night! I have tried all kinds of sippy cups and he refuses to drink milk out of any of them! He's very stubborn and I don't want him to get dehydrated! He likes water and juice, however he will only take a few drinks out of a straw sippy and throw the cup on the floor. He cried all night it seemed like and still refuses the sippy today! He is my 3rd child and my other two(Mariah 6 & David 11) went from bottle to sippy at age 1 (cold turkey). Ryan(my 16month old) not so easy. The doctor said at his 15month checkup that he needs to make the transition before his 18month checkup. I'm determined to win this battle, but it's very hard to see him fuss/cry and not wanting to drink anything!

I'm usually pretty regular, but November my menstrual cycle came a week early and lasted only a day (normal flow). Now I keep having clear water-like discharge? It doesn’t have a foul smell, like it may be an infection. I took a pt last week (about the time my cycle was suppose to start) and it was negative. I don't know, my doc says discharge is normal, but this much isn’t normal for me. I guess I’m just looking for opinions? Has anybody had a similar situation?

My period was nearly three weeks late an i had felt extremely tired, certain smells of foods turned my stomach, my breast were larger than normal and i was at times feelin quite sick. I also had a strange feelin on my right hand side that wasn't like period pain and a little back ache. I did three test which all came back negative and then had some pain and bled quite heavy for one day and now last few day i have had spots of a brown discharge. I'm only askin about this as my periods are never normally that late and i'm always normally on for a week, and my breast are still larger than normal, but i don't feel any different. anyone else experienced anythin like this if so what was it period or pregnacy?

I've been married 3 years and I'm 26 and my husband is 31. I've been very vocal about not having children, and then kind of on the fence, and then vocal again. But I think about having them a lot and I'm envious when others get pregnant. I have come to accept that I do want a child. My husband changed his mind first, so he'll be thrilled. However, we disagree on how to go about it. We're very financially stable. We live off one income and do very well. But house prices are such that we couldn't afford one within an hour of his work without an income 3x his. My earning potential is very small, so that won't make the difference. He thinks we should save even more until we can afford a home here, no matter how long that takes. I think he should either commute more than an hour to where we can afford something or transfer jobs to a less expensive area. He thinks this is unfair. I'm wondering just how committed he is, considering how he's been pressing for a future baby. Advice?
