So when the heart rate is around 160 its a girl...Thats the old wives tale....How many of you has this worked for??? and How many of you had a boy with a heart rate of this high??? Im excited now lol we have 4 boys, i would LOVE a daughter :) but of course my biggest wish is for a healthy baby, be a girl or a boy. Im just curious now :)

Why are more and more parents letting thier kids just sit a play video games all day every day. That does absolutly nothing for them....Kids need to be out getting dirty, bruising knees, riding bikes, maybe even causing a little bit of trouble.. We wonder why so many more kids are becoming unhealthy and over weight, but parents are the ones allwoing this to happen.

Okay, my sister had a period for Oct. but not November and Thursday the 30th she started spotting...and now her boobs are sore...she found out today that she was pregnant...she is scared that the spotting means she could lose the baby? It will be a few weeks b/4 she can get to an Ob/gyn...do any of you know if it's okay to spot some>? Have any of you had this problem...it's a real darkish red brownish color...?

My husband and I have always had a good sex life... it was even good during the first several weeks of pregnancy... So why now, 13 weeks into it, is my skin so sensitive I can bearly stand him to touch it? I get in the mood, but then just the lightest touch strikes a nerve & I can hardly stand it. (and not in a good way) This was not an issue during my first pregnancy, so I'm puzzled. Can anyone suggest anything to help the situation?

My son is 8 years old and he chews on his nails. Not only does he chew on his nails he chews on anything he can get a hold of. He has his bed railing all chewed up also. Please give me any wise answers as to your responses if you can.

I don't really want to give out junk food and I don't want to spend much. My first thought was a craft kit that maybe I could assemble the pieces to but not being craftly I have no idea. Some of my son's classmates aren't even 3 yet so it's not easy. Any ideas? What are you doing?

It is going on about 2wks now since I've ttc. my cycle started 11-11 and ended 11-16. ttc 11-23-29-2006. Now I am feeling a bit sick but not a lot. I've been gagging off and on and having excess saliva every now and then I get stomach pains what are the possiblilities and which side of the body should I concentrate on? When should I test? Also have been seeing more clear/white discharge.. I know its not infection!!

I had my first prenatal today, at 11 weeks pregnant :) My dr. didnt try to find the heartbeat, but he did an ultrasound and i seen the little heart beating away it was AWESOME :)!!!!! The baby was already sucking on its hands :) Is a heartbeat of 150-160 normal or is that kinda high? 160? i always thought that was high....My other two boys had heartbeats of about 145? Thanks :)!!!

I ve been puttin on weight post delivery.I ve a 2 mths old baby boy n i breastfeed.
Did u guys ever exp this..
Coz i ve always hrd ppl tellin that ey lose weight after delivery..

I talked to the pediatrician about this and she just said it could be something im eating. I have read that breastfed baby poop should be yellow with curds in it and that consistently green poop could indicate an allergy or hindmilk/foremilk problem. I have eliminated potentially allergic foods and stopped taking vitamins to see if it would help. She is emtying both breasts so I dont know if it could still be a hindmilk imbalance. My baby is gaining weight just fine. She is almost 3 months and 12lbs. If your baby is 100 breastfed what does their poop look like? The only time my baby poops yellow is when I go to work the one day a week on saturday and my hubby gives her formula. Thanks

How can I promote that.... I want to make sure my baby is able to be held happily by friends and family... I know when I was a baby my mom was the only person that could hold me... or I would cry what can I do to help promote social development and should I start early on??? I dont want strangers coming up to my baby and it be ok either... there is a fine line... and I just want my family and friends to enjoy my baby! Any tips, ideas??

Iam 5 months pregnant and last night my back needed to crack so I stretched like I wasnt pregnant like you know when you lay on your back and put your leg to the other side and stretch the lower part of your back .... but after I did that, it hurt my belly button for awhile so I stop... did hurt I hurt my baby ? or what did hurt me ?
