my daughter is 4 and in pre-k. She needs something that starts with the letter g but can not be a grape or giraffe. the teacher is bringing them in. I am out of any idea. Does anyone have any.

I had my first chld when I just turned 18 and I had no problems making it happen. I am now 21 and have been trying to have another one. I haven't had any luck and it is now going on 4 years. When I had my son I was very ill and they thought I had amonia and I had a very hard time giving birth. The whole birthing process was a nightmare due to me being so ill and my dr. being an idiot. Anyways, the had problems sewing me up after I was done and the whole birth just didn't seem right to me and everyone else that was in the room. Also since I had him my cycle has not been the same as long with lots of other little things with my body besides the typical. Well I have talked to my OBGYN regarding the concerns I have and she just give me any answers or does anything to help me. I really feel like she is not taking me searious due to me being so young. Does anyone have any ideas?

ok i took a clear blue easy test and the answer came as a negative spilt line the split is right inthe middle and then the other test was the same thing but there was 3 dots going upward on then the neg sign could i be pregnant? could that be a positve sign. Also i have drank alot of water can that effect the results. and i have gained about 3lbs and if iam pregnant i would be about 3-4 weeks

Can anyone give me any good tips for disciplining a 2 year old girl when out in public when she knows she can not be given a time out and in general she is becoming a little complacent about time outs as they are not a hardship anymore.
Smacking is not an option so please do not offer this as an answer.

I am currently on birth control, but I wasn't always. I had sex with a boyfriend for over two years unprotected, we weren't trying to get pregnant we were just being stupid. BUT I still never got pregnant. Dos this mean I can't have kids or could there be some other explanation?

We are first-time parents and our daughter is now 12 weeks old and is still not sleeping through the night. She doesn't seem to like the moses basket and wakes up immediately when you put her in there. We have been trying her in the cot and she still isn't sleeping. She seems to have day and night mixed up, which i hear is normal. But how can we turn it around? Does it make a difference that she was 5 weeks premature? Do I just let her naturally get into a sleeping pattern or are there any tricks? Please help.

If a couple opted to have a baby using the man's sperm and the woman's egg, but decided to use a surrogate carrier (ie a different woman to bear the fetus), than whose name goes on the birth certificate as the mother? The original woman whose egg contains the genetic makeup of the child, or the woman who housed the fetus for nine months and actually gives birth to it.

Okay, my baby girl is due in January and we have no clue what to name her:( We would kind of like something that has a family connection, but we don't like any of the names in our families. My 3 month old has round white spots on the insides of her cheek (nothing on her tongue or throat that I can see). I can't tell if it's formula or Thrush. When I try to wipe it off (which is not easy with a newborn, as you can imagine), it seems to be wiping off quite easily. Her gums and the insides of her cheeks look slightly redder than normal. Could this be thrush? Or just formula residue?

P.S. Please don't tell me to contact a doctor. I have called and I am waiting for a call back. I'm looking for info from experienced parents who have dealt with Thrush before. Thanks.

For about three months, my 15-year-old cousin has been dating a 16-year-old classmate. At this point, at least as far as we know, most of their intimate activity has been limited to dating, kissing, hugging, cuddling, holding hands, and other relatively innocent stuff. There's been the occasional French kiss and backrub, which we ~think~ is probably fine...backrub might be pushing the line a bit, but there's a rule that my cousin must jeep her shirt on and there must ne ansolutely no hands going down anyone's pants or above my cousin's lower ribs.. Beyond that, though, which kinds of limits should be set? My Aunt and I are worried that if the rules about touching are too strict, the kids will just go somewhere else where there is not enough supervision and will then be more likely to make a stupid decision.

I am pregnant and I only want to breast feed for 2 months to give the baby the immuntities, but I want to know how long it will take for my breasts to get back to normal.
