Tell her you want some tests done that something is wrong or happened from the first birth that is preventing you from getting pregnant and that if she can't give you better options than what she has that you will have to go elswhere for a second opinion.

I have heard that if you go into an appointment with a list of questions and concerns most drs will take you more seriously, the list gives them the impression that you are taking yourself more seriously and have really thought about it all. If your dr doesnt listen then, get a 2nd opinion, either by some one in her office or at a totally different office all together.
Remember you are the patient........ They are there for you. YOU pay them to help you, not the other way around and if they arent doing their job, then why should you continue to pay them?
Good luck with your future plans to hava a baby. I hope the next time is a lot easier, and much more pleasant than your first one. Either way you will have another beautiful child to show for it.

I am sorry you are having such a rough time. Try talking to your doctor and expressing how you feel. Is this the same doctor that delivered your first child? If so it's helpful that she knows your history. However, if your doctor doesn't respond well to your concerns then you should thinking about switching doctors. Your doctor should not make you feel this way. They should be willing to help explore what else could possibly be going on with you interest at heart and help you with things without making you feel vulnerable. You can easily ask for a copy of all your records and go to a doctor that will give you the time and energy you deserve!

Get a second opinion. If there is any reason to doubt them, then do it. You need to feel that all is right in the world and with something so delicate as this your doctor should have at least done a test or two to see if anything could have gone wrong with our last birth or if there have been some other complications. Good Luck.

I think you should switch doctors... I know how it feels.. I had a blood test done and they found some type of virus, I am not sure of the name but I guess they call it the kissing virus. Because I am only 21 my doctor was smiling when she told me a had it and also told me it was very common in teenagers and said "you know what I mean dont you?" I thought that was very rude. I might have picked it up by drinking from my grandparents' cups.. I've had one boyfriend for 3 years and havent kissed anyone but him. But she automatically assumed that I have picked it up from kissing too much people because of my age. Can you believe that? How rude. I switched doctors.

have you gone and got a second opinion? i also know out bodys are put thru hell from giving birth that may explaine your irragular periods... What about the RH factor could that be part of it? here is a site to look at.. but i would go with a diffrent DR. see what they say.. might be more helpful as well.. and give you more respect then the one you have now..

If you are doubting your doctor then it's time to find a new one. Whether you are right or not, your doctor should be addressing your concerns.
