If you are potty training I would say pull ups HOWEVER- I found it easier to just go ahead and potty train my kids with regular underwear and not even bother with pull ups. Saved money, AND I feel the training process went a lot faster and smoother.

Depends on the child. My daughter is 2 1/2 and has been in regular underwear for 1 1/2 years. It just depends on when the parents decide to teach the child to use the potty. Most 2 1/2 year olds I know are in diapers, though.

He or she could be in pull ups and probably should be - however,
let the kid figure out for himself if he wants to wear diapers or pull ups him self- Pull ups during the day and diapers at night
the pull ups are much more comfortable that the diapers.

pull ups but time to potty train. Put a potty for kids in your bathroom and let the boy go in the bathroom with mom and dad so he can get used to the idea of using the potty and not diapers

your two n half year old son should be in pull ups..you should get him a potty chair & start training him.in the night time starting out though u could put a diaper on him but that is the only time he should be wearing a diaper

At 2 1/2 it's pretty much time to start potty training which means he would be in underwear now.
I don't really believe in pull ups. I think that only confuses the child. It's like telling them "no more diapers" then handing them something that looks just like a diaper.

Usually pull-ups by then...some still in diapers,though.

At this age you should have or should be starting potty training with pull ups. If you have your child in day care or are putting them in a preschool program at the age of 3 they have to be potty trained in order to attend.
