Don't give him Popsicles! Put a bottle of Pedialyte in the fridge and let it get cold and give it to him in a bottle. My son's doctor told me to give this to him when he got the flu at 6 months (3 months corrected age because he was 3 months early) The Electrolytes in Pedialyte aid in brain development.

I have a 4 month old that has a cold. I just called my daughter's doctor and they told me to get some Pedia Care Infant Drops for Cough and Cold to give to her.
Also, use a humidifier in baby's room to keep the air from getting too dry.
Keep checking his temperature and if it gets to 102 F (rectal), then he needs to see a doctor ASAP.

Nurse him often. You know how when you haven't had a drink in awhile then your throat hurts more? Just try to make sure he is nursing as often as possible to keep his throat moist. A humidifier might help, too.

just take him to the pediatrician and let him give you better advise on what to do, but what i would do for now is give baby warm milk warm as the baby would take to it.
