YES!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was at first breast feeding and then switched to a milk-based formula and he got gassy alot!, His Peds told me to switch to a soy base and he hated it sooooo much more. I then took a big chance and tried Enfamil's Nutramigen and he ate better, had good bowel movements and rarely spit up his bottles. With my daughter I learned to use Enfamil Nutramigen again and avoided all that hassle I had with my son
IT IS THE BEST ONE ON THE MARKET, I highly recommend this one for all stressed and confused moms in similar situations......it saved my life!

My son had the same thing until he regulated more around 5-6 months and he is on soy too. We tried other formulas, but nothing else worked. His pediatrician didn't want to use Karo syrup (too sugary) or prune juice when he was so young so we diluted a bit of pear juice into a couple of his bottles each day. Solved the problem quickly and easily without gas problems being added in. We would just do it when he was actually constipated.

my son gets plugged up every once in a while, the best thing to do is hold his feet and bend his legs and move them in a circular motion and then straighten them out and do it again. This should help get his bowels moving. If not put some Ky on a thermomiter and put it up his butt, that'll stimulate a bowel movement and if not talk to your doctor about a baby laxative or giving him a ounce or two of baby apple prune juice. That'll do the job in about 12 to 24 hours. These are all things my doctor told me to do with my son when he was 2 to 3 months old, but talk to your doctor first about the laxatives and juice, good luck.

First of all don't give you baby any form of syrups or Karo because this can cause infant botulism which is a food poisoning.

I had problems with my son all the time with formula. I finally got fed up with it and took him to the pediatrician and went from there. Let your ped. know whats going on because he may need special formula. My son would get constipated and just cry. My pediatrician told me to use sugar water, it was the safest and most effective way to loosen up the bowels.

I don't know if this would work for you, and don't take this advice without checking with your doctor FIRST, but I put a little Karo syrup in my kid's bottles. Put maybe a half-ounce to an ounce, light Karo syrup only. Just don't put more than 1 1/2 ounces, because you will end up with poopy diapers up the wazoo.

you may want to try prune juice in between bottles. start with just a small amount like in a 4 oz bottle use 1oz prune juice and 3oz water and adjust it to suit your child's needs. at 3 months though you really have to watch and make sure you don't give too much at one time cause it will cause gas and that sucks too. another thing i did with my daughter is bought child size suppositories (wal-mart less that $3) insert the suppository and let it work. again this is just an option and you could or should talk to your pediatrician. good luck.
