Freedom yeah freedom
yes. you're killing you daughter. in the future, her friends would be like "hey, did you mom used to take spelling class?" your daughter would be like "nope. why?" her friends would be like "ow, no wonder, what kind of dumb named their child ashleigh"
Um, I did take a spelling class (even though its called L.A) , so if they dont think so, thats their problem not mine.
And I am not thinking about when they are 80. I may use the traditonal spelling but I am not sure.

HOW can a name be 'wrong'? Use whichever name you like. My sister's name is Ashleigh.

Well, they're not the best names, but since you seem to like them, here are some suggestions:
Yes, I do like Ashleigh the most out of those, though Emmaleigh is nice, too. I'd spell it (since you love -leigh) Emileigh, but one of my daughters' middle names is Emily, and I like the traditional spelling, yet your way is nice, but if I had to choose a way, I'd pick Emily. If I needed the 'leigh' on the end, I'd do Emileigh.
Now, Trinideigh...erm...I'm not so sure about that one. Trinity is more favorable, to me, but if you need the 'leigh' try Triniteigh.
Armoneigh is nice, as are all of these names, I just prefer a bit more traditional spellings, you know? I like those, but I guess I'm not to talk, as one of my daughters' names is Hollie.
If you don't need the 'leigh' and you DON'T want traditional spellings, try:
Ashlee or Ashleigh - or even Ashly. That's my friend's name (:
Emilee or Emilie
Trinity or Triniti or even Trinitie
Try Armonie, too.
Cute names, though.

I like Ashleigh and Emmaleigh a lot. I don't like the other spelling of Trinity, and, honestly, it sounds a bit too Matrix for me, anyways. I'm also not a huge fan of Armoni or Armoneigh. But the first 2 spellings are cute, cute, cute.

Ashleigh isn't that bad, but for the love of God, why would you do this to your child just so they have a unique name? The name is still common, Ashley, Emily, Trinity...and I've never heard Armoni before, but it's close to Harmony.
If you want your kid to have a unique name, give it a truly unique name...I went to school with a girl named Arzetta. Her parents just made it up, and it was unique.
And take it from me...my name is a unisex name and my parents spelled it the "boys" way, and now my name is always spelled wrong.

I do NOT think so!! I am 32 weeks pregnant and I am having a problem with a unique name for my daughter. Her middle name is already chosen, Leigh ... and I am stuck for a first name. I love Ashleigh and Emmaleigh. I have never seen Trinideigh spelled like that but think it is wonderful! Absolutely - original. Armoneigh doesn't sound like something I would personally use, but still a very random spelling of a great name. I love your originality!! Keep it up!

My Mom thought the same thing 38 years ago with my name. She thought that it would be cute and trendy to give me the name that she did. Changing the spelling and making it completely different. Sure it was okay to introduce me to someone when I was 3..... Then 15-20 years later have someone try to call me and ask for a job interview and try to read it off of a job application? You should hear the business' or my children's school try to call me now. Let alone that my married name is just as bad trying to pronounce. I would have been just fine with a name like Sue or Mary.
Trust me, every time that I introduce myself I have to explain the spelling and pronunciation. Then accept the usual rolling of the eyes or fake, "how cute???" The whole time I'm thinking, "I know, I know, let's move on with the conversation"
If you want something different, find a name that isn't in the top 20 (not a soap opera name). Something that you rarely hear, don't change the spelling. Try an old fashioned name. Trust me, the more you say it it can wear on you. I did that with my daughter and it turned out to be a beautiful name.

Ashleigh is cool but the spelling of the other names are not so cool. I like the names but not the spelling. The way you are spelling Emmaleigh, Trinideigh (which looks like trin-i-die) and Armoneigh looks as if the parent couldn't spell. Stick with Emily instead of Emmaleigh and Trinity instead of ... well the other word. The child will be glad you did in their future. Sorry.

I like all of your names. While true, they will have some amount of grief from people growing up, it's just because they are unique. Who cares what people think of the spelling. It is unique and yours. Besides, people misspell the most common names anyway. My wife has a very common name and it gets messed up on almost one in 5 letters that come in the mail. Go for it! I like Ashleigh, Emmaleigh and Armoneigh the most. Trinideigh is a little too "Matrix" for me and you will have the most problems with pronunciation and spelling with that one than the other 3. Good luck.

I dont think anything is wrong with Ashleigh or Emmaleigh. I have seen both of those before. They are just longer to spell for the child, but fine.

I like those names but not the spelling. I like them better spelled
Ashley
Emily
Trinity (definitely looks better spelled this way).
Armoni or Armani
These are very beautiful names and it looks a lot better spelled the "normal" way instead of the way you spelled them. Just my opinion.

Wow, I'm surprised how many answers you've gotten.
Well, I actually considered both Ashleigh and Emmaleigh for my newest edition. I really like both names, Ashley and Emily, but I also like to be unique and didn't want such common spellings.
My husband was opposed to Ashley. He just doesn't like the name. He really likes Emily, but wanted it spelled that way. I thought about Emmaleigh, but it reminded me too much of Emmanuel. Between Emma-Leigh and Emma Leigh, I got negative reviews on the hyphination, so the two seperate names pronounced as one seemed like the best bet.
However, ended up being a boy! So we ended up naming him Jason Gage. The middle name was going to be Lee, but I wanted something unique. My sister said "Cage" just joking, my husband thought she said Gage and everyone like it.
Past that, I don't particularly care for the last two. I wouldn't say it's "wrong", but I think there is the potential for problems as the children get older.
As far as people saying it's too long for the child to learn to spell... that's rediculous. You don't hear anyone complaining about parents naming their kids Christopher or Elizabeth, which are equally as long.
