I believe that I am pregnant, but I am only 10 dpo and I have had some sharp shooting pains in my left breast. Also, I have noticed that they feel heavier and I have had a sore ARM PIT? it seems like the sensitivity is gradually taking over my whole chest from my arm pits and it is working it's way to nipples. Does this sound normal to anyone or is it cause for alarm? I am planning on taking a test in a couple of days...wish me luck!

I had the same thing with both pregnancies. I always started with a shooting pain and then my nipples would hurt. There was never anything wrong with me, but you could always ask. I know ice packs helped me out. Tylenol didn't do anything! Good Luck!

I get those arm pit pains. My boobs didnt hurt as much in the beginning as they do now, but everyone is so different. Another thing that makes my boobs hurt is when I get the flu or a cold with body aches. They told me to take tylenol and get into the shower or use a heating pad. Find out if you are pregnant, get a doctors appointment made.

My breast were instantly sore like pms sore, but the soreness and tenderness increased w/ every week. If they're heavy then the sore arm pit could be the heftiness stretching the muscles. I personally wouldn't be alarmed, because it only gets worse. I couldn't move my first trimester they hurt so bad.

My friend had the same symptoms, but it turns out she was having a reaction to her birth control. She was on the patch and it was causing severe tenderness in her breasts and pain in her arm pit, just as you described. If you are on birth control, I would definitely call the dr.

I had a similar experience when I was first pregnant. That and the nausea were my first symptoms and I was about 5 weeks along. Good luck!

That was actually one of my first symptom's was the sharp shooting pains..It's very possible that you are pregnate. I would definitly take the test now.. Good Luck to you!

i never got that when i was first pregnant, so i don't know...but my breasts were bloated and sore!
