Help! Mother in law is making it hard to look forward to the holidays!?
My huband and I were recently married in September of this year. We have been together for 6 years. My mother in law is all of a sudden making a big deal about the holidays. For instance she wanted us to go to her house this year for Thanksgiving and go to my moms next year.My husband told her this wasn't going to work because we want to be with both sides for the holidays. I offered to do Thanksgiving at my house so that we could all be toghether and she wouldn't have to feel that the holidays are a big rush. She refused my offer. So I thought we agreed on splitting the holiday we would go to her house at 11am and have appitizers with her. Her dinner was in the middile of the day and this year was our year to have dinner with my parents because last year we only got to spend a few hours at my moms. The night before Thanksgiving my MIL called my husband to discuss Thanksgiving and he must have told her agian about how our day was planned we would show up at 11 have appitizers and spend

Don't even bother coming I can't believe your not eating here you do everything with her family. Blaah Blahh Blahh. She said not even to bother to come come next year to her house only so she can get her full Thanksgiving. Which I refuse to do and she doesn't respect that. She then said that we always run out on her to get to my moms which is untrue we were spending most of the day with her. The next year we would eat our main meal with her. She was so upset she hung up on him and he was so upset at her that we didn't go. They didn't talk for a week and when they did he opologized for not being there and she was still feeling the same way and said that . everything was about me and my mother. That is also untrue we tried working it out with her. 1. I offered to do thanksgiving so that nobody was torn away. 2. I my mom doesn't care about the time you do dinner but

if you could do your thanksgiving at lunch time or dinner time everything would work out alot better. She likes to have hers smack dab in the middle of the day. I don't know what to do about her she is starting to cause problems between me and my husband and he doesn't want me to say anything to her. She can't respect us as a married couple she wants everything her way. I am starting to really dislike her. What do I do. She also says that discussing the holidays is between her and my husband. That really pissed me off and I would really like to confront her on that. I feel like the main issue is is that she feels she has lost all control I think she is really jelous of my mother and what she has done for me and my husband. I know this seems really long and not put together well but its really upseting me and I have gotten good responses on here other times

Why do women ask this question on here? If the woman doesn't know if she's pregnant, and nobody else knows, wouldn't the fetus and/or a pregnancy test be the only ones who could answer this question??

I had a dream last night that me and my 2 best mates isobel and chloe were riding a bike me a the back isobel on the main seat and chloe at the front and then we where riding down a cycle track and there was alot of trees and then we came to a footbal ground where one of my teachers was there we went back on the cycle track and then me and isobel started talking until we realised chloe was gone so we went back to my teacher and he said" you will never see her again she is dead!! what does this dream mean???

I am 28 1/2 weeks pregnant and am seeing a urologist for frequent UTI's. She said the infection I have now is only treatable with Cipro, which is a pregnancy category C. She ran it by my OB-GYN and he has okay'd it for 10 days. I am still nervous to take it though...anyone else had to take this drug or any other preg category C?

Ok i babysit a "delayed" boy who has a hard time walking. I phiscally have to put him on the school bus every morning. he can not get up the stairs. I also have a 10 month old baby. That i need to use a stroller for.
Well there are these 2 house on the way there that have never shovled their side walks. The one house no one lives there and the other one is a tow truck driver. So i understand that he is very busy right now. But there is a bylaw in town snow MUST be removed from side walks 48 hours after snow fall.

This is making it very difficult for me. one is a corner house vacant one. So walking on the road is not that safe with people whipping around the corner. it is that on i want shovled. no i can not do it my self. 3 kids of my own plus extras. To tried by the end of the day.

Any thoughs.. IF i report the one. the other one will get a fine too.I also live in a very Small town. The tow truck driver doesnt deserve a fine. he is the only one around.. Super busy.

ok somebody posted because they work in a restaurant.. they were complaining about parents who let their kids make a HUGE mess and behave like animals (I wonder if the kids behave that way at home too) and they were asking why do parents take such bratty children out..
Anyhow most of the answers seemed to say this was normal and there was something wrong with her for complaining about this... I was SHOCKED and rather disgusted.. if this is normal and so many people are saying its acceptable for kids to behave like this - I truely fear for the future....

We were so excited when we found out that I was pregnant. We had been trying for months. I am 6 1/2 weeks. About 4 days ago I noticed that I had terrible lower back pain. The next day I started spotting. As time went on the bleeding became heavier and clotty. Yesterday I went to the E.R. although I wasnt having any cramps the bleeding scared me. He said that since I havnt passed any tissue and the bleeding isnt really bad that I am having a threatened miscarriage meaning that I had a 50/50 chance. Then he looked at my HCG levels and said that they were really really low. He said that he didnt want to be pesimistic but realistic. He ordered another blood test to be done tomorrow to check if the levels went up or down. If they go down then I am going to miscarry. If they go up then the baby is still alive but developing very slow.

My two year old has been potty trained for 6 months and was completly trained. No accidents for months, no reminders nesassary. All of a sudden she is peeing her pants two to three times a day. I am at my wits end. Should I punish her for the accidents or not? Any advice would be appreciated.

My one friend is starting to complain to me about everything, I dont mean to seem like I dont care, but I cant take all of the complaining. At first it was because of my friend (lets call her W) was making comments and she thought she was talking about her (helped her with that) , then it was about some guy talking about her (helped her with that) ,A nother schoolmate of mine (Lets call her I) she says is getting on her nerves, the second time she complained about I , I was right behind her. Hello, I just caleed my doctor and found out they dont do ultrasounds until 20 weeks... but I want one to see if my baby is ok... I cant wait until March!?!?
