Pregnancy & Parenting - 2 December 2006

Our little boy is just a week old, but his nappies always leak when he pees. We have tried all types of nappy, huggies and pampas, both are as bad as each other, but the wee always seems to find a way to leak out of the top of the nappy and we t him and the bed. Any advice

Ok so i went to the doctor and had a transvaginal sonogram done to see why i didt have my period this month.. she said everything is fine..but me and my bf had unprotected sex 3 times after nov 6th.. can i be preg and it didnt show on the transvaginal sonogram.. they are sub to see pregnacies earlier then a reg one

i asked a question like this a while back and tried all the answers but yet it still is going on. I am 21 years old a mom of 2.My grandma comes up to vist each sat. well She is the type of person she has to know everything about what is going on in your life so she can go tell everyone. She hates my boyfriend who works and helps me clean the house. As soon as she comes into my house she heads for ny childrens room to see if they are clean. She tries to snoop every wheres . When you are driving with her is the worst. She will call people in other car names and yell and scream. i have told her several times i dont want to here about other people i dont know or my uncle and aunt who basicly have nothing to do with. She still continues to do so.I have told her how i felt it goes in one ear and out the other. It is getting to be a real big problem. I'm currently using Enfamil w/ Lipil on my 3 month old son. He seems gassy all the time and I always have to use Mylicon. I'm thinking about switching formulas and my pediatrician recommended Good Start. Does anyone feel Good Start is better? And if so, is Supreme with DHA & ARA better than regular Supreme?

I was on depo for approximetly 3 shots or 9 months. I stopped in July ( would have been my next shot ) Last shot was in April 06. Since then I have been trying to concieve. The problem is that my cycle is SOOOO messed up. Can herbal remedies help regulate my body. Any suggestions to ask the doctor about. I seem clueless when I talk to my OB and would like to know what products I should be asking him about to help me get regular and/or concieve

I love the idea of using countries as a name for my child. I am only 7 weeks pregnant and I nothing sounds good anymore. I like Thai for a boy or a girl. Israel, India for a girl, Britain for a boy.... It doesnt have to be a name of a country, I just want something beautiful, unique, artistic... something. Baby books arent helping me. Any suggestions? It will also have two middle names.... If its a boy, one of the middle names is Andrew, Thats already set in stone. HELP!!

I came off the pill in october i had a period 39 days later.

I have been having sex for the last three days, and i know that ovulation generally occurs at day 14 of your cycle, but i also understand that it could happen, any time, as every one is different.

But since this morning i have had a sharpe pain in my left side at my pelvis.....does anyone think they may know what this could be, and could i be pregnant already?

After children can wash themselves, should parents be touching their children's bottoms at all(patting, rubbing, smacking, hitting, tickling,etc.)-unless it's some rare emergency? Why are children's bodies subjected to adult touching without request, and many times AGAINST their request-and yet this is criminal once you are over 18?

Hi I am currently 20 weeks pregnant and I am wondering if I am pretty safe at this point or would I definently notice a misscarriage? This is my first pregnancy. All ultrasounds have been great and I just had my blood tested to check the baby for neural tubular defects, downs syndrom and spinal bifida and the tests all came back negative. Im just wondering at what point can I put my mind at ease.

Any time i ask my son anything whether its would you like cereal or toast, or,clean up your toys, he screams " no mum" then runs to his room, slams the door shut, screams and cries and throws himself around, then 5 minutes later he comes back out in the foulest mood. I have tried everything. I have caught him before he gets to his room and talked to him. All i get is screams. I have given him time out before he has reached his room. I have put him back in his room after a tantrum and all he does is sulk. I have also ignored the tantrum completely as though it didnt happen. He has been doing it for the last 6 months. The doctor says he is healthy physically emotionally and developmentally. If this goes on i am going to end up using physical punishment. Help anybody have any suggestions?

About 3 months ago my little sister came to live with me, we have the same dad but diff. moms, she has never had discipline, she's never had rules, the circumstances in which I got her are pretty terrible and things you see on tv that only happen to other people, dhs will not allow her back in the home with her parents at all, she continuosly lies to me about little stuff all the big stuff is fine it's the little stuff, like brushing her teeth, combing her hair, washing her hair, stuff like that...is this just because of what she's been through and what can I do to help....I'm just so frustrated...let me add I'm only 21 but I do have to children of my own....
