The only affect it MAY have on your baby is feeling your heart beat faster ( the affects of anxiety, etc). It certainly won't affect her mentally. It is well known that pregnant women have vivid dreams due to the hormonal affects-I know one psychologist who wrote her doctoral thesis on dreams pregnant women have. You release in your dreams fears that you don't want to deal with during your consious state.

I am sure your baby is safe, but for YOUR sanity ( as you have enough going on) I would talk to your husband about your dreams. Sometimes, just getting it off your chest will make them go away. Your mind is telling you to deal with your fears.

I dont think your dreams are actually about your husband cheating on you. But more likely to be revealing your fears about the pregnancy. I used to have crazy dreams when I was pregnant with my daughter but she was absolutely fine. In fact I used to dream in the first six weeks or so that I was having a girl, so I knew without a doubt that my baby was a girl. You dont say if this is your first pregnancy, but sometimes it can be your mind's way of telling you that you may have unresolved fears about the unknown, or that there is already someting on your mind that you havent been facing up to. But whatever happens, Im sure your baby is absolutely fine. The very best of luck to you.

Dreams are especially vivid when you are pregnant. They definitely feel real, so perhaps the distress you feel when you wake up is being felt by the baby. Just try to calm down, and remember that it was just a dream. The baby will be fine!
Just wait until those sex dreams start happening!! You'll appreciate the realness of those dreams!

While some studies suggest that the emotional condition of the mother during the pregnancy effect the unborn child. I believe that your dreams are normal and have no effect on your baby

It is very common for women to have these kinds of dreams. Mainly b/c you are pregnant with his child and are being protective of him. Its human nature so dont worry. I bet he is having the same kinds of dreams. Talk to him about it and have a good laugh. He will be flattered to know you care about him so much

I think that you should discuss with your partner about these 'dreams' you are actually having. Perhaps by discussing the dreams with your partner may take away some of the stress. Alternatively you can always go your doctor or gp. This could be a form of sleep insomnia that can simply be solved with some medicine that will not damage your baby.
Try and take it easy, and still get plenty of sleep where you can. It is vital when you are pregnant.

The dream itself doesn't affect the baby but you having nightmares raises your heart rate and can have an affect on the baby. I would talk to your doctor to see if it is serious. Pregnancy makes woman think things they normally wouldn't and I understand why your having those dreams.

I'm pretty sure your dreams have no effect whatsoever on your baby ^_^. My mom once dreamed while she was pregnant that she gave birth to a puppy. She thought the puppy was cute, but was a little disappointed it wasn't a baby. So I really wouldn't worry about it!

I'm sure since you are actually getting physical because of your dreams, it might affect the baby a bit, but nothing to damage it in any way at all. She might feel your stress. But don't worry stress is a natural part of human emotion.

No these dreams themselves are not effecting your baby. Dreams are jsut psychological movies. But, if the dreams are making you stress or worry about your husband actually being unfaithful, then the stress will effect your baby.

Firstly that kind of dream is very normal in childbirth.

And while there are some studies that suggest stress is bad during pregnancy, there are some that show it is good --in small amounts. Personally I wouldn't worry too much.
