people at school keep tellin me to shave my legs

in gym we have to where shorts and errybody keeps sayin to shave my legs. the girls say that it wouldent be gay and the boys sayin it wouldent be gay eather but I want other peoples point of view

now i am NOT gay. I like girls so no stupid answers

I think a 13 year old boy that shaves his legs is more often resisting growing up. They're reluctant to take that step into incipient adulthood. It's the reason that a lot of pubescent girls wear minimizing sports bras, instead of push-up bras.

in some odd cases yeah it can be gay because girls do it. But there are some exceptions. I am a swimmer and i know guys who shave their legs it is very creepy, but the guys are not gay. Wait until you get older, maybe when your 17 or 18(your hormones are developed and you might not have to take gym). When you get there Things straight guy can do: Shave the legs during the winter because you are wearing long pants and you hope to (enter god here) that other men don't see it. You might want to try shortening most of the hairs with an electric razor (less change of being called gay). If you do decide to shave, it is going to itch like f*ck, redness, burning, the works unless you continue shaving. Shaving your legs is not gay, it is when you decide to wax.

My first question to you is this:

Do any of your male friends shave their legs?
If the answer is yes some of your other male friends have shaved their legs, what was the reaction from everyone after they shaved their legs? Did classmates laugh at your friends after they shaved their legs? Or did the classmates think he's cool for shaving his legs?

If the answer is NO that none of your friends have shaved their legs, then I would say that you might not want to shave your legs either.

After you shave your legs, you might be laughed at, ridiculed and made fun of. And being laughed at, or made fun of, can hurt a lot!

athletes shave there legs like swimmers bcaz that one secound could make them loose. Boys are suppose to have hair on there legs. If you want to you can trim it.. other then that im a 12 year old girl almost 13 and some of my guy friends are 13 and i never heard of anyone telin anyone else to shave there legs. Try trimming it i guess. Happy Holidays

Not gay. Athletes shave their legs all the time, and a lot of girls that I know prefer shaved legs over hairy ones. Go for it.

If you want to shave your legs or just want to try shaving your leg, shave them. No it is not gay. Plenty of str8 guys shave their legs, plenty of gay guys don't. The only thing that matters is if you want to shave them.

It would be pretty odd for a guy, at any age, to shave his legs.... unless he is into competitive swimming, or biking, or something.

I don't know WHY they would be telling you to do that. Maybe they just want to see if they can get you to do it, so they can laugh at you later. Who the heck knows! Stranger things have happened.

You sound like you don't want to shave your legs and you shouldn't do anything that you don't want to and I personly would find it strange if a guy shaved his legs but if you do want to shave go ahead I not against it
