My 3 year old always has pale pooh, varies from pale green to yellows and tonight yellowy white. he is healthy and happy. Eats a varied diet, enjoying meat, vegetables and fruit as well as occaisional sweets. Drinks large amounts but always so.......It has been like this for nearly ayear. His weight is good for his height. He is tall for age

Try not to worry but if it is very pale then this could be a problem with the lymphatics. It would be a good idea to have the doctor rule out "lymphangiectasia/lymphatic enteropathy".
There could be a problem with the intestines not being able to cope with absorbing long chain fatty acids.
Get him checked out but also - this might be a very simple thing to clear up. I do hope so.

You say your 3 yr old drinks large amounts. What does he drink? Remember when he only drank milk? Could be he is consuming large amounts of milk which could be the reason for the yellow pooh. You might try limiting his intake of milk first to see if anything changes. If not then I would definately consult his Pediatrician. Good Luck

Have you bring him to see a doc yet. Yellow poo is ok but green is abit weird. See a doc and seek his opinion.

This is not normal. It sounds like fat malabsorption. You may want to discuss this with the child's doctor.
