I was just wondering what are some good items to consider when packing your hospital bag?

I brought new underwear you will bleed! tooth paste tooth brush hair brush a change of clothes to go home in most likely something comfy!! make up!! :) Contacts glasses which ever if needed...shampoo conditioner...just things you would bring to stay over some where and of course your babies outfit!!

chargers for ipod or phones... even though you cant use phones you can still chrge em when there off. Books might help too if there nothing good on tv. Your own higene products. Clothes for when you get picked up. Warm socks and or slippers if your feet get cold. Pictures and a telephone adress book so you cna make calls. Good luck & happy holidays

okay for the mother:
*pads(about 50 you bleed more when you have a c-section so you never know if they will be needed better of to have 2 many than not enough)
*pjs(3 pairs)
*something to wear home
*slippers
*housecoat(if you have one)
*sweater
*shampoo and conditioner
*soap or body wash
*toothbrush and toothepaste
*books to read or wordsearches to do

now for baby
*diapers
*bottles
*wipes
*socks and booties
*recieving blankets(6 or 7)
*sleepers
*undershirts
*outfits
*hats
*carseat
*snowsuit if its winter when baby is born
*diaper bag
go online to diff. websites im sure you can find one with a checklist of what to pack if noit ask diff. family members whom have had kids what they brought

socks, undies, pjs, home clothes(your 6month mat clothes should work) home clothes for baby plus an extra in case of a messy poop, diapers, wipes, car seat, recieving blankets, nursing bras and nursing pads, pads(lots), money for insidentals, massage oil, a fav cd and player, yada yada,.... pack like you're going for a week

lmao! omg wrong section, ok cds, books, homework, clothes for a week, money, cd or mp3 player, ps2 etc(hospitals are super boring, bring lots to do

If you are talking about delivering your baby, one additional item for you...pillows. Your own, in nice pillowcases (colored, so they don't get mixed in with the hospital's.) The hospital ones are flat and not comfortable.

Make sure you have more of the usual things especially knickers and sanitary towels i found that i needed more than i packed.

pj's. hair brush, toothpaste/brush. underarm deo. facecloths. slippers/socks, undies. reading material. if you forget something, i am sure someone from home can bring to you.
