Puberty usually hits from 8-16 years. It is very normal. Besides, the sooner, the better. Do you know that once a 4 years old baby once had an erection. It was so normal. Now he's 15, and he's growing normally.Don't worry.

That's a question, that can't be answered accurately. In my day (back when the dinosaurs roamed ...lol) kids usually started puberty around the age of 13 or so.

Now-a-days, kids are starting to mature as young a 7 or 8... yet, others don't go through puberty until they're 13 or more. It's ridiculous ... the younger ones don't even have time to be children anymore .... :(

Most common ages are 12,and 13.
It can come 9 and younger too though.
Depending on how quickly the children develope.
Don't let it stress you, drink some ice water or chew
some gum. Either one, will help relive stress and your
nerves. Try to remember that, now. Good Luck.

yes in boys it starts at this age and with girls it happens at least 7 and 8 years of age. I work with middle schoolers and grade school kids in the 4th and 5th grades and yes it starts like that with some, but not all and they are very embarassed about it because sometimes it happens at the unexpect times especially if they are daydreaming of a girl or thinking about something they saw on television or read in a magazine where they're was something that caught there attention and sent them into an aroused state. Just go to your local health department or go on the net and look up about pre-teens or puberty. There is lots of valuable information about this that you or someone like his father or an uncle could talk to him about. It can be controlled and handled in a resonable manner just go into it like that. Let him ask questions and don't talk until he's finished and talk to him calmly and rationally. Explain things in a child's tone not an adults and let him know that you are there for him no matter what and he can come to you about anything. This opens up not about what he's going through now, but with other matters like sex and masterbation later. That way you and him and his parents have a clear understanding and he's not going else where for false info. Better for him to hear it from you than someone else that doesn't have his best interest in mind. Pray this helps.
