I was pregnant before but had a miscarriage at 9 weeks in sept, I remember everything from that pregnancy since it wasnt that long ago. Im 4 1/2 weeks pregnant now, and the only thing I'm experiencing is sore breasts. My stomach has gotten tighter, I dont have cramps anymore but I do have on and off sickness. I know its too soon for my stomach to be tight like this I'm not bloated or gasous, i was wid my fist pregnancy but I know that im not now, but since this is my second pregnancy I heard that things happen quicker than the first pregnancy, but I thought that wouldnt be the case for me since I wasnt pregnant that long. My question is am I being paranoid about the whole thing? Or is it really true?

my DOCTOR said that applesauce will help get rid of diarrhea but his NURSE said that wasnt correct, that it is actually a laxative. I thought apple JUICE was a laxative b/c of the sugar but appleSAUCE would help b/c of the fiber??? im confused! Help!!

My husband grew up in a house where his mom made his bed, straightened his room, brought down his dirty laundry, folded it, and put it away, etc. basically he had no chores growing up. I on the other hand was responsible to bring my dirty clothes to the laundry, put them away when they were clean and folded, make my bed, clean my room as well as other household tasks like careing for the pets, dishes, etc. Now on to what we are debating about, we have three children 7 years, 3 years, and 5 months and I am a SAHM (have been for a little over a year) and I believe that our children should be able to make their own beds (obviously the seven year old by himself and the three year old with help), bring down their dirty laundry, put it away when it is done, straighten their rooms etc. My husband on the other hand thinks that I am "being just plain lazy" because I don't do it. I have enough things to take care of every day.

My four year old daughter up until last year slept easily. When she turned 3 all of a sudden she stopped falling asleep. I put her in bed at 8:30 and she doesn't fall asleep until close to 2 a.m. She doesn't get up or cry or yell, she just sings quietly to herself or just lays there. I have tried everything from bed time rituals, lavender baths, body massages, warm tea, warm milk, rubbing her back, rocking her... everything you can think of i have tried, I don't know what else to do and she is not getting enough rest.

I am lucky enough to run my husband's successful business as office manager from home while watching my very bright and precocious almost-walking 11 month old son. So far, everything's been rosy and he seems ahead of the pack developmentally. However, I worry about him getting bored now when I'm working on the computer or on a business call. He is self-soothing and plays well by himself with no whining. He socializes well with other children on play dates and at the local playground. I just need some neat ideas about new things I can expose him to inside the house--things I can play at with him and things he can work on by himself. He's not ready to draw yet, however--I tried crayons and he still wants to eat them! I am also an older and educated Mom and he's my first child. We have tons of toys for him--I'm really looking for some more creative solutions for those periods I need to be at my desk. Hope you can help!

This didn't concern me at first but now that i'm watching her alot more it bothers me that maybe there is something wrong. She can be playing one second and then the next she is mindlessly staring off in the distance...you can drop a book and she'll keep staring till I guess she's done. She also has this thing she likes to do on the furniture is bounce her head on the cusions of the furniture. I might be reading to much into this but none of my kids ever did this like she does.

I'm a bit late on my period this month. Usually it comes around the 20th, last month it was around the 28th but so far this month no signs of anything. This past weekend I experienced strange stomach aches and cramps. I've been really paranoid about being pregnant and I've heard stress can delay your period, but I'm trying to remain calm and cool about it. So far its just strange stomach aches, and sometimes I get sort of nausious but nothing too serious...Could this be a sign of pregnancy?? =/

I am a singl mother to a beautiful 3 year old. She has recently discovered differences in the anatomy.
She is asking questions about her vagina. They are very specific! How do I answer these questions without brushing her off or making something up.
I want to tell her the truth, and for her to be able to come to me with these questions, I'm just not sure of the best way to explain it to a 3year old!

I take birth control pills the 21 day kind(Orth Tri cyclen) and one day I did something stupid. On the week i'm supposed to have my period I always have it on Tuesday and stop on sunday when I take a new pack of pills. Well i dont see my boyfriend alot and I wanted to have sex with him so I got my period on Tuesday and on wednesday I tried to stop my period by just starting a new pack of pills and I took two pills a day to catch up on what I missed. I had sex with my boyfriend unprotected and he said he though he might have came in me just a little bit before he pulled out but probably not. Then I waited and got my period and on the very last day of my period Sunday morning I had sex with my bf and he climaxed in me. Shortly after I started showing signs of pregnancy. I feel exhausted all the time. My breast hurt but have not grown any bigger and I feel nauseus. I am also constipated and have had the worst headache for a bout three days now. I even ran a low fever. Any ideas?

We had been having trouble getting pregnant.... i went to my dr.. she did a check-up and found out i had an abnormality on my cervix... did a colposcopy... and then when we found out for sure it was dysplasia i had cryo surgery to remove the bad cells..... its been about a month since the surgery and my fiance and i r now getting ready to buy a house..... i wanna get pregnant..... how long do u think it will take now that my cervix is all better?

I am preg. with my 2nd child and when we were planning this preg. I remembered the pain of labor and delivery but over looked how miserable preg. was for me. Once agian I am absolutly miserable. I believe it is worth it but I have every symptom there is to have and have tried every thing to subdue them and nothing works. Alot of woman say preg. is or was the best time of there life. What is the secret? I will try any and all of your suggestions that aren't harmfull to my baby of course so please help. I will take whatever you got. I just want to say that I don't regret the decision to have anouther child and am verry happy to be expecting. I am 8 weeks. Thank-you all in advance.

My boyfriend has wanted a cat since we bought our house, and I wanted to get him one for Christmas, but I don't know if it is a good idea since we are having a baby. I am 8 days overdue with my second child, been having regular contractions allday, getting closer and stronger but don't want to go to the hospital because when i had my first child i was having regular contractions but was only one cm dilated when i got there.
