I think there may be an atavistic response in some pregnant females to reject sexual partners once they're pregnant. If you look at the animal kingdom, females are only receptive when they're able to conceive, and after that, once again reject overtures from the males. So I don't think it's totally bizarre you feel that way. But if you think there's something purely psychological going on (a fear of hurting the baby, not feeling sexy because of your baby belly, etc) than those issues can be addressed by talking to your mate and you might get over it.

Same for me. My first trimester, I was puking all the time and felt miserable, so it was out of the question. Same for my second, I am one of the lucky one who has morning sickness until the very end. Now that I am in my 3rd, I am so big that any position we try is uncomfortable. That, and my sex drive has completely gone away. I would rather just sleep. Oh well! Hubby is an understanding guy!

Don't worry, as a father, I may not have liked it, but in some women, yes, it is normal. You will also have the same feelings after giving birth. If you have an understanding husband, everything will be fine.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

for some women it is and for others the complete opposite is true. your horomones are going crazy right now. they may make you more willing later on in the pregnancy or not. but don't worry things will go back to normal once baby is born .good luck and congrats on the baby.

It could be the hormones, your hormone level changes when you are pregnant, they will be back to normal about six weeks after the baby is born. Until then, try to accommadate your man the best you can to keep him happy.
