Any ideas on how to get labor going?

First, is this your first child? I don't believe anybody's first baby is right on time, whether early or late. I had my first child two weeks before my due date. The second child I had two weeks late, she's a girl though, so go figure! hehe....

Secondly, if the babys head is sitting high, they may have to "reposition and manipulate him" ....Meaning pushing around on your tummy repeatedly like trying to make him move in the correct position.

It all depends though..... I would say just keep doing what you've been doing and best wishes! Sorry I can't be more help!

Walking is good. Also sex as sperm can naturally help thin your cervix. I would avoid things like castor oil. You can also ask your dr to strip your membranes. The thing is, though, none of that will work if your body isn't ready. With my first, I was two weeks late and even then I had to be induced. Good luck and remember, that baby will come when it's good and ready. Don't worry, you'll have a baby in your arms very soon.

You can try keeping active, walking or cleaning. Having sex can help, male sperm has some agent that can induce labor. Basically, babies come when they're ready. DO NOT take castor oil, this can cause baby to have a bowel movement, which the baby then may ingest.

Walking, lots of movement if possible to get the baby heading down quicker. All sorts of wives tales out there...eat spicy food, drink castor oil, drive in a car on a bumpy road...good luck

well first try some good old sex then try walking then try drinking 4 oz of castor oil with orange juice and if none of this works then go ask the doctor to induce you.

walking and a spicy meal, but just waiting, you might have to be induced or you might of got the date wrong and your actual due date is farther than friday

be easy! you can't hurry love. patience; cause when that baby gets to coming there's no stopping and you're gonna wish you could. just relax and don't overdue it, you could injure yourself and/or the baby. peace&blessings
