I started getting morning sickness almost right away. That's how I knew I was pregnant. Your body is going through a huge hormonal change and each person reacts different to those changes. Make sure you go to your OB for all your appointments, and if you are really having a tough time with the morning sickness, call him, he can give you something. I always just made sure I had some saltine crackers by the bed in the morning, they help. Good luck with your pregnancy!!!

Some women never have it. from wikipedia: Duration of condition Morning sickness can occur at any time of the day, though it occurs most often upon waking, because blood sugar levels are typically the most depressed after a night without food. Morning sickness usually starts in the first month of the pregnancy, peaking in the fifth to seventh weeks, and continuing until the 14th to 16th week. For half of the sufferers, it ends by the 16th week of pregnancy. It may take the others up to another month to get relief. Some women suffer intermittent episodes throughout their pregnancy.

Everyone is different. I was an extreme case and started at 4 weeks. By 7 weeks it was so bad I had to quit my job, take time away from school, and was put on chemo meds to stop the vomiting. Zofran does help though after taking it I would not sleep for the next 48 hours or so. I hope you are one of the lucky ones that don't have to deal with it for long.

Well, hate to tell you but you're having it. If all you get is nauseated then you're lucky. Some women have more severe cases of it. Thank your lucky stars for what little you have. Try some saltine crackers and it may help. The reason for morning sickness is the excess acid in your stomach. If you eat something it should help but be sensible about what you eat. Congratulations!!!

I am one of the lucky ones that started puking about week 4 and it hasn't stopped yet (at 29 weeks). Hopefully, yours will mellow out by your second trimester. Everyone experiences pregnancy differently!

I got it at about 9 weeks with my first and I got it about 51/2 weeks with my second. The first time it lasted about 4 weeks, the second time about 16 weeks. Good luck, and try something tart....Apple cranberry juice, or sucking on limes/lemons.
