I had'nt seen or talked to my dad in twenty years. Now I found him and he wrote me a letter telling me that when I was young he tried to see me but my mom would'nt allow it. Then he just sort of gave up but never stopped loving and thinking about us. He also told me I have a half sister that is 12. I told my mom and she flipped out. She said that he has'nt done anything for us all these years and that to talk to him now would be disrespecting her. I told her that I had a sister, and she said you have no sister i'm your mom and your dad and I don't see why he would even tell you that. What is her problem should'nt she be glad for me that I finally get to know my dad that I have'nt seen since I was five?

I just started to feed my son Parent's Choice milk based formula and now I can't get him to eat his old formula(I have about a half a can of this stuff left and I hate to waste it). What do I do with the old stuff? Thanks!

I began having symptoms of UTI last night, it's pretty common for me. I called my ob this am thinking he'd just call me in some macrobid, no such luck...

The office called back and said that I needed a urinalysis and to see the Dr. but I didnt get the msg until it was too late...

I went on and had the urinalysis at the hospital and am supposed to go to the Dr. tomorrow morning. My question is this:

My mom works at the hospital and was able to get my lab results. My nitrates? were elevated, but the lukocytes were normal as was the bacteria. What does this mean? Just another UTI?

(forgot to mention that I am 6 mos pregnant)

I just had a baby a week ago today and I am bottle feeding. My breasts are very engorged and the only suggestion the dr has for me is to wear a tight fitting bra and to leave them alone. I didn't have to worry about this with my first child, because I breast fed him for a short period of time. Please, anyone with any suggestions, I would really appreciate them.

The girls parents bring him home in the morning after the party! Is this OK nowadays? I am in shock. The family who hosted the party live in a well to do area of town, drive nice cars and apparently this was a party with alot of teenage guests. I had no idea- since Dad or the son did not tell me the full story until the next day. I would never allowed an overnight stay with co-ed guests for teens- in my opinion this is asking for trouble. What do you all think? Am I being a stick in the mud- or am I being reasonable?

Has anyone else had severe insomnia during pregnancy? I often only sleep about an hour a night, and never more than three. I can't catch up during the day either, with my 2-yr old son! Just wondering if anyone has had the same problem.

I am 8 weeks pregnant - My doc has prescribed Reglan(Metoclopramide) for me to treat my nausea. This medication does help my neausea but am curious to see if anyone has tried this medication before ? My doc assured that this is safe and won't hurt the baby - should i still be worried ? PLease help!!!

I am 20wks pregnant and my nipples and areola area has started to become itchy over the last... about week i guess.

I moisturise with coca butter and use vitamin e oil (this helped with my itchy stomach!) but its to no avail.

Anyone else ever experienced this? any words of wisdom?

He has already doubled his birth weight, at only 13 weeks. The Dr recommended starting sprinkles of rice cereal, because of his size. He is as long as a 5 month old and weighs 16.5 pounds. He tolerates the cereal, but I forgot to ask about juice. Just want some feedback on other moms out there with BIG BABIES!!

I want to hear from any women who have had miscarriages. I had one when I was 7 weeks pregnant. This has been over 10 months ago and I was wondering if the pain will ever lessen. I dont know if it is normal for me to still cry about losing my baby, or if I am just being overly sensitive. I guess I want to hear about personal experiences in regards to how long before you stopped crying constantly. Also, I do not have any other kids. It's not really bothering her, but she is definately playing with her ear a lot, and there is a lot of drool, etc going on maybe causing a back up. Should I take her for antibiotics right away, or see if it passes?

My little girl understands everything I tell her but she does not talk. She doesn't even attempt to say anything. She does make noise with her mouth but it sounds like "ah-ah-ah" We are scheduled to see a speech pathologist in 2 weeks. I have taught her a few basic sign language signs and she will use them but I want her to speak not sign. I am getting really concerned because when I compare her to other kids her age they are staring to make sentences and she doesnt even have one word mastered. I know I shouldnt compare her but it is difficult and others have pointed it out to me several times. I am trying to be repetitive with our daily routines and say the same things over and over but nothing seems to help. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Theres this girl who I was planing to break-up with my girlfriend for. I still am planing she is the most Sexy girl. She has the whole package the behind I have to say is Fine. She is hot.
