Sounds healthy to me. I hated it and still hate it when people think they're correct on everything about kids. Especially mine!
Has bub started solids?
Maybe it whats he needs, a little each day.
If the bub eats well, I don't see the harm.
If it's junk and high sugar then of course I disagree.
Your the parent so you know that baby better then anyone. Averages are a guide, not gospel.

It depends on how much your son is eating. The way that they work it(I guess) is double the formula to weight. For instance, my son is about 20 pounds and eats between 4 and 5 8 ounce bottles. Then I multiply 8 times 5 and get 40 double his weight at least this is what my doctor told me.

Baby's like to suck on things at this age. If your son is eating too much(talk to doctor first) give him a pacifier.

He is not overweight.. Babies grow completely different.. As long as he is developmentally on target he is fine.. Just make sure next time you go to the doctor to ask. They will tell you the same thing.. Honestly my nephew was huge he was 25 lbs at 5 months.. As soon as they start doing physical activity such as crawling they start to lose thier baby fat..Don't stop him from eating when he needs to. At 31/2 months he is hungry and he needs the nutrition to grow!

That is fine. My 3 boys were all over 20 lbs by the ages of 4 to 5 months. Now they are all tall and thin.

Some kids are just bigger. You should take in consideration the size of yourself and your husband. Also was he a big newborn. Babies come in all different sizes.. its okay. The most important thing is that you keep feeding him when he is hungry. Never deprive him of food when he wants it. Babies only ask for food when they need it. He will take off some weight when he starts crawling. He is perfect!

No all infants improve at diverse weights, my toddler substitute into 14lb 6oz at 5 months and at 9 months she substitute into precisely 18lbs, she in basic terms won an oz. in a month. you will discover the babys weight is going up particularly speedy till you start up solids and your toddler turns into lively. My woman is consistently on the bypass, crawling, rolling, status and strolling, even fidgeting burns energy. So i could say while your toddler reaches the 8 month mark you will observe the burden slowly creeps on yet it somewhat is commonplace. My friends toddler is a month older and is 23lbs, lots greater advantageous than my toddler yet she is taller and has a various build, the top difference is incredible as my toddler has tiny constructive properties yet long limbs, then my different friends toddler is 7 months and is the comparable weight as mine already, they are all so diverse. as long as you voice any concerns on your wellness customer at weigh ins they could reassure you, yet i think of the burden is commonplace.

Young baby usually get fat at first because they have lil activity, feed him when hes hungry and then as he gets more active he will burn more calories then hes eating and he will lose some weight! Don't worry!

He's fine. Just remember that when he gets older (2-3 yrs old) don't overfeed him then. Just let him eat when he's hungry. Don't force.Good luck!
