I think my mom is loosing first of all we just got into it about a situation with my dad,now shes off her rocks about a doll.She asked what my daughter wanted for x-mas I told her this dance toy and amazing allison. My mom said forget about amazing allison. I said okay whats up with amazing allison. She said nothing then I said no someones name has to be allison. Who don't you like with the name allison. She said thats the name of the woman her ex cheated on her with. So do I get my daughter the doll or not get it because my mom has an issue with it because its called amazing allison?

other than the usual symptoms of breast soreness, nausea and missed periods, how else would you know that you are pregnant? i'm not sure whether i am pregnant but i had missed my period. is there any other way of knowing it without the use of the pregnancy test kit?

my husband and i are trying to concieve, my best friend, thinks shes pregnant, but she doesn't want a baby yet, i feel really happy for her, but at the same time, i feel depressed about it, has anyone had the same experience ? i'm just tired of people saying god will give you kids when your ready, i know thats true, but if she is, then why is god giving her a child when she isn't ready, and not to the people that are?

I'm not one to say TV is the end all be all number one influence in a child/teen's life. It's not a show's fault to blame for teenage pregnancy BUT I do realize that shows glamorize pregnancy and parenting.

I realize while parenting IS the most important thing to sort fact from fiction--what happens in those teen years when parents don't know everything--according to their teens? Do you think these shows, particularly the Gilmore Girls, have a negative and unrealistic effect on young women and girls?

This is not the only show I’ve seen to show where teen pregnancy works out great--there are so many others where teen pregnancy is shown as “easy.” While I know many teen pregnancies also turn out great (including mine) statistically the majority do not. Do you have any suggestions on a realistic way the media can confront this issue?

I have a friend who has a slight case of PCOS and her testosterone is slightly high. she and her husband have been trying for over 2 years to get preg. she has had all her hormones checked ( that is how she found out about the above) She has already been on clomid for 4 months. what I am tring to say is, is there anything that can done to help her that her doc. is not doing?? I feel so bad for her please help. I think she is giving up on having one and I know that her and her husband really want to have one ... although they will adopt too.

i am 23 and have 2 children from a previous relationship, my husband is 34 and has been married once before and has no children he said that his first wife was on the pill and that they did not want children but now he would like 1 and we have been trying for almost a year now with no luck ive tried everything in my power 2 try n concieve but nothing has worked.Before we started trying i had the implanon in my arm which once taking out all effects have gone from the body unlike the pill injection which takes up 2 a year 4 you to concieve , i had the first implanon put im my arm after i had my first child and i got it took out 1mth before i conceived with my second child so i know that the effects of getting the implanon removed go from your body straight away. any advice would be much appreciated.

For the last 4 months there has been no mucas around the time of ovalation, even though the maybebaby indicates ovalation. I have bought those kits taht test with urine and no surge has been indicated around the time the maybebaby has indicated ovalation. I am 38. Has anyone got any sugestions - and dont say I am too old because my mother and her sisters have had children in their late 40's.

Age 46 yrs cronic rhuematoid arthritis kneck & back injuries (I know it doesn't sound easy) now we are taking precautions,but things do happen, not on the pill any more didn't need it I thought. I couldn't cope having a baby,an abortion or adopting out, this would finish me. I've been alone for a long time, an old Love & I met up again which is lovley except for this. Well I was on the birth control pill Ortho-Tricyclen Lo. The week when I started the sugar pills (my period week), I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend before my period actually began. The day after my period started and that was that. The following week after that I started a new birth control pill Loestrin 24Fe. After I finished that pack, during the sugar pill week, my period never came. Is it possible that I could be pregnant?

Do he have the right to find out if the baby is his baby?? The mother is pregnant and refuse to tell him if he is the father or if his friend is the father. He want to be part of the baby's life if it is his child. Please give us sites that we can research if there is a way he can fight for his rights. i had my son on 9-14-06 had no bleeding just spotting for the first 6 weeks, then i had a normal period, according to my cycle schedule my next period was 6 days late, the day after it started i had SEVERE stomach pains, not like period cramps, it kinda felt like contractions..is this normal after having a baby..i have a ob appointment thursday..just wondering what yall think
