My friend is a few years younger than me, and she's going through puberty. She "says" she doesn't want to grow up and get boobs, but I know her enough that she does. She told me at a party all her friends wear a bra, and she doesn't. She wants one, but won't "tell" Her mom says when she's ready...should I just get her one so she can feel more comfortable?

Talk to her. She seems comfortable talking to you, so ask her if she wants to go shopping for one small bra. She might be proud because she might be shy talking about it. If you've gone through it, she probably looks up to you...be there for her, no matter how embarass she feels.

:) That is being a nice friend. Sports bras are the common right now for girls her age. They are comfortable, and they are great for one just beginning in development...easy to wear, and it IS a bra.

Just be reassuring to her that all girls go through these strange times. Put youself back to that time and you'll have no problem finding the best way to help ease this time. You're on the right track already.

Look, be a good friend and take her to get a bra...now! Or else she'll turn into me(Saggin'!) LOL!

Teach her how to buy the right bra, the right pads and the right ways to put them on. Ya'll will enjoy it. It'll go away and try to be there when she tells her mom.

maybe get your mom to talk to her mom, or even you talk to her. But if she is really uncomfy talking to her mom about it...go ahead and get her one.
